Josh Gracin’s claim to fame was that he was an active duty marine — and throughout the competition we were unsure whether he would be shipped out to war or not. Josh Gracin has had some success as a country recording artist and has sold 695,000 CDs — almost as much as Tayor Hicks.
Corey Clark was Paula Abdul’s alleged boy toy during Hollywood Week. He has the honor of being the only Top 12 finalist to be disqualified — for concealing his criminal past. He is currently still a criminal, pleading guilty of trespassing and violating a restraining order against him by his estranged wife.

Wow! That was the first time I have heard either one of them and I liked them both but loved Corey’s vocals. Maybe he can get his life together and give it another shot!

Corey is delusional if he thinks this was his best performance. It was awful and I could not believe they let him through. (Now I see that Josh and Corey went into the top 12 from this “Juanita Barber” group; I asked this question in her thread.) Cannot believe Randy stood up to give him a standing O. Paula– I CAN believe but Randy…? Doesn’t he know who he is??! ;>
It hurt my ears to hear Corey singing.
Josh was good on this one. I remember he had awkward stage presence for most of his performances. But he could sing.
I hate to be snide but on a side note, Patrick Lake (That Year’s Rocker) has not aged well. :{
