One our readers, rachelle, just informed me that Kelly Clarkson’s song “Never Again” was about Kelly’s breakup 2-years ago with former boyfriend David Hodges (formerly of Evanescence, now with Trading Yesterday). After David broke up with Kelly, he went back to his former girlfriend who is now pregnant. David wrote a song in response to “Never Again” titled “Just a Little Girl”. Ouch. Ouch. Ouch on the lyrics.

I love it Rickey! Kelly’s song says “he was such a jerk and she’s better off without him”. His song basically makes you think “how could she have dated such a whiney spaz?”

And that version of Kelly’s song rocks! Who did that remix?

Thanks for posting the song. I don’t like their both writing songs about each other but I guess if she can write on to him and his wife then he can write one back. I actually like the sound of his song but I am sure it won’t be nearly as popular as Kelly’s!

I really love the Kelly “Never Again” remix and thanks for posting it. Great tempo! It doesn’t sound as angry as the original. LIKE IT A LOT.

I think I remember that Remix is by Dave Aude and it is from a water sales promotion for the company Kelly promotes.

It is a fun dance club sounding track!

“Just a little girl,” which is the least of calling Kelly a bad name (it could have been worse) and, considering he had so many “demons” inside him, I think he admitted to f’g up the relationship, you know? Kelly did the right thing. He needs a shrink, not a baby or a girlfriend.

It is a very SAD song! Full of self-pity. Always blaming the other partner. And when men can’t get the sympathy from a woman, they tend to go where it is. He doesn’t want a “woman” or a “girl.” He sounds as if he is self-centered and will connect with anyone who strokes his imaginary wounds… I’m guessing a lot of loser men will relate to this song. I hope it doesn’t become a top 10! That will say a lot about men today!

Go Kelly! Go find you a positive and loving man with his head on straight. You deserve it for all your hard work.

I love the remix…the chorus is so hypnotic…you just lose yourself in the music…its awesome!

Blah. I still don’t like the remix (I almost NEVER like remixes, though). Techno/dance beats are just distracting and too repetitive. lol

I love the original, though. I like Kelly’s anger. haha

And as far as the whole “Just A Little Girl” thing, eh. His song has a softer “sweeter” sound, but bleh.
