ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! THIS IS THE BEST THAT HE HAS DONE THE ENTIRE COMPETITION! BLAKE LEWIS FOR THE NEXT AMERICAN IDOL! He has something that the other contestants from the past didn’t have.
Jordin absolutely killed Blake with that last song because Jordin has much more powerful voice than Blake and if you have a weak voice, that will clearly show your weakness (especially toward the end of the song, we could hear Jordin’s voice last much longer than Blake) One thing I like about Blake though is that he is very smart: he knows his weakness, so that’s why he picked the songs that fit to his voice (and I also like most of his song choices too!) I like his creativeness for Bon Jovi’s song but Bon Jovi has a power voice so that song also has the good and the bad. I don’t like Jordin’s song choices tonight. So we’ll see tomorrow!

Totally agree with you. I think that they were sympathetic of Jordin because they think that she can’t handle it on her own. And I have a nudge that the tears in the end of the last song was an act… Because you really didn’t see anything coming out of her eyes. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

As much as I dig Blake, though, I kinda don’t want him to win because I don’t want him to have to be saddled with that wretched excuse of a song. Seriously, that was the biggest piece of dreck I’ve heard in who the hell knows how long.

That coronation song is total ****, made for a glory note singer. Let’s see Jordin sing YGLABN or Time of the Season. She shrieked through the first song and Randy saying her version of Borken Winds was better than the original was freakin’ laughable. Martina could sing circles around princess J.

I AM SO GLAD THERE’S NO LAME CHOIR! I think if it’s Melinda vs Jordin finale, we would definitely have the choir.
Anyway, flawed as it is, I actually like Blake’s version better. Of course he doesn’t have the kind of range that female singer has…but his voice has that special something that makes him more memorable. Jordin sounds like McTatah to me.
I’m really torn here. I want to vote for blake but I can’t since I’m not in the US! Somebody please vote for Blake for me!

VOTE FOR BLAKE!! He really deserves to win this competition. He doesn’t get as much pimping from the judges like someone else does.. But he can really carry so many kinds of tunes, whereas Jordin can only do so much with that big voice of hers.
