Lacey Brown was on Ellen to talk about her experience on American Idol. Lacey was roommates with Paige Miles! Lacey “knew” she was going home last Wednesday.
She sang “Kiss Me” by Sixpence None The Richer which she sang during the Top 20.

So if Ellen is having all these castoffs on her show — what happened to Toddrick? Did he refuse to go on?
This was the only performance from her that I actually liked. She isn’t nervous here so she actually sounds decent and not pitchy.
I love Lacey!
And she could totally have a career in the pop country scene. Will she be as big as Carrie Underwood or be marketable to the old country diehards?…no..but I think she could do very well in the younger pop country market as I think she is too “commercial ready” not to work.
She should definitely go country. Her vocal style reminds me of Lee Ann Womack who is one of my favorite female country artists.

Those are the AI9 contestants, lol. The dog is Lee Dewyze. Rickey did this last year too!! =] I love them!!!

No… the American Idol heads were on there normally when the episodes were on. These are different.

I’m not sure how he chooses the cartoons for each contestant, but if you hover the pointer over each cartoon it’ll tell you who it represents. “BELIEVE”…..maybe Rickey’s just an optimist!! LOL

They are lil toon heads of the AI top 12 this season. If you hover over them, you see the name of who it is supposed to be. If you click on one, you get all of the articles about that person. # 1 is Crystal Bowersox and if you click on the lil head, there is a bunch of info and articles that come up about her. Perhaps the order they are in are Rickey’s preferences or guesses as far as how the outcome will be. Really cute and so easy to see articles and such about your favorite this season and well, all of the top 12.Also, I’d like to add that where I have a couple I really like this season, Season 8 has to be the BEST season of all yet IMO. I’m also unhappy that one of my favorites, Lacey, was voted off, as well as Alex not making the top 12. Anyway, that’s the ‘scoop’ on the little toon heads! BTW Rickey – thanks for the GREAT site! I sit here now and read it hours at a time! So much great stuff! Excellent job!

Where was this confidence when she was on the show!? Her stage presence here is like 10 times stronger than on the show….her eyes really sparkle, beautiful eyes. I think she’s suited to only a specific genre (folk/country music), but so are a lot of other artists so hopefully she will do something with her talents because she does have a unique, beautiful voice.
