Lambert makeup–Mmm–I wonder how it will do? That’s a market I have no idea about. Why wouldn’t he market to women, too? If it’s good quality–it would sell to women, I would think.
NYC–just like the entire rest of NYS–re: taxis. This is yet another gov’t agency that is about to get a bunch of lay-offs and budget slashes–so they go out and fine the **** out of ppl to keep their jobs. NYC taxi medallion trades in the price range of six hundred thousand dollars for the individual–corporate much higher–and they want to nail them for an average of 4.45 overcharge?! Be aware of this ppl! The onslaught of these “investigative” agencies is nothing but a bunch of overpaid and early to retire gov’t jobs! They are crawling all over businesses that are hanging on with greased fingertips. NYS (and NYC) only knows how to do one thing–get into pockets.They are not protecting you–they are protecting their own behinds.

When contestants step onto the small stage to audition for Idol, they are complete unknowns to us. I’ve always tried to judge them on their musical abilities period. I try to continue that as they progress up the food chain to the finals. It has always irked me to read posts on any board that make it sound like the posters know these people personally. WE DON’T folks! All we know is what we see and read about them and it has always seemed unfair to judge them on that.
Adam has shattered that for me. I was never a fan of his when he was on the show. I just plain didn’t like his voice. It had nothing to do with his life style or his appearance. However his behavior and comments since he left the show have brought my just not caring for him to a much higher level. Adam is obviously an ego maniac and his obsessive fans only empower him to further embarrass himself and a show I love. When anyone puts a microphone in front of him, his mouth goes into overdrive and he just plain says stupid ****. Then after what I can only imagine are frantic calls from his PR department, he runs to Twitter claiming he’s being misquoted. Then comes the inevitable posts from fans saying he’s this sensitive, misunderstood, and misquoted soul everyone hates because he’s gay. GOOD GRIEF, we KNEW he was gay the minute the first pictures of him painted green hit the internet!!!
Sorry for the rant, but I was stupid enough to click on the NY Mag link about him launching a makeup line and read a few of the comments. It’s getting old folks. IF Adam was really being misquoted as much as his fans claim, he’d be a millionaire from the lawsuits.

Sharon, you should really stop following Adam’s every move if he bothers you so much. Lol, this is what I don’t get about Adam’s haters. They’re just as insane as the rest of us, and I sometimes think make nearly as big a detail about Adam and put his name out there as much as his fans. You yourself stated that you weren’t a fan of his from the show, so it’s unclear why you follow his extracurricular pursuits post-show. And no, don’t say he’s everywhere and you can’t avoid it, because Adam is a second-rate celebrity at best and nowhere near in the presence level of the media that people claim.
I’ve heard it said that Constantine is just as much an ***, but I couldn’t cite a single reason why people claim this because I’m not clicking his name and googling him because I just DON’T CARE about him.

I see articles on Adam and his bad behavior on here and on MJ’s. Those two sites just happen to be where I get my news on ALL the Idol contestants. I AM a confessed fan of the show. However, I don’t spend time “googling” Adam or anyone else for that matter. I even said I was stupid to click on that link. I usually don’t read the updates on Adam beyond the title of the article which is usually more than enough to see he’s been talking again.
What his fans need to realize is that not everyone thinks he walks on water or that every reporter is out to “get him” by misquoting his comments. Just like the bash he did of Susan Boyle. Adam himself came out and admitted he shouldn’t have said he laughed when he heard her cd, but his fans still insist he never said it. Also they need to realize that just because some of us criticize him it doesn’t mean we are “haters”. That’s a really big leap on your part based on what I wrote.
And sorry to disagree, but no way do Adam’s critics come off as insane as some of his fans. LOL
I stand by my statement that if you are not interested in Adam, you don’t have to read any of his news, even on sites like Rickey’s, MJ’s, or IDF. It’s called filtering. But the haters sure do have wandering eyes, clickedy click fingers, and always seem to know EVERYTHING Adam is doing, sometimes more than me as a fan, which I find downright hilarious. And yes, Sharon, I also stand by my statement that you are a hater because, even if you don’t like him, you waste your time commenting on your dislike of him under posts about him.
