Idol Maniac has posted a few song spoilers for this week’s American Idol Top 24 shows over at IdolForums. MJ’s says it’s “Hot 100 Top 10’s” but it looks like it is not being enforced.
I guess these are songs that have been “cleared” for air recently and someone got hold of it.

I actually think John Park will sound great on “At Last”. His audition was very soulful and he had a very smooth tone to his voice. I agree with Victoria when it comes to Ashley singing Leona though..those are big shoes to fill!
maybe her confidence and stage presences make up for the lack of power in her voice. we just have to wait and see.

I think she can do good by this song. It’s a fast and very lively disco beat. Lot’s of high notes that she can go off on–she does that quite well. Yup–looking forward to what she can do with it.
Kinda scared for Siobhan, I really love this girl, but her face gets distorted everytime she sings high notes…
Yes–the girl is so good, but the grimacing and facial distortions are so distracting. I hope the vocal coaches get her to control this.

Yeah but KISS is different though, they don’t really rely on good looks, whereas in Idol, (let’s face it) people also judge them based on their looks… I’m imagining Rickey posting screencaps like the ones posted for last year’s Von…

Last year, Anoop sang a ballad sung by a woman (Angel of Mine – Monica) and John is gonna sing At Last!

a good voice is a good voice…look at Fantasia, Ruben..if ur gonna say AI is also judged on looks…not that they’re ugly…but they weren’t conventionally “pretty”…once Fantasia opened here mouth…u undeniably couldn’t say she wasn’t the best…not the hottest…but girl. can. sang.
I hope Katie does an acoustic version of “Haven’t met you yet.” That would be cool. Hope she doesn’t disappoint…

I am scared for Siobhan when it comes to singing that tune. I wish people would recognize real talent. If Katie sings “Haven’t Met You Yet” I hope she bombs it! Never in a million years would I pick up a phone for her or Ashley Rodriguez. AR is too Jordin Sparksy…..go away!

And about Alex, I’m kinda liking him more and more. Maybe because of his song choices. He sang ‘I’m Yours’ by Jason Mraz who is my favorite artist. OF. ALL. TIME. and now he’s singing ‘Wonderful World’ by one of my favorites too, James Morrison.
I have a horrible feeling that the judges are going to be super hard with Janell regardless of her song choice

No offense intended, but I can’t stand Kris Allen…He is not what it seems and has a jealous streak about him…I really don’t see him lasting in the industry of pop..but rather on a christian station since he sounds like all the other christian artist with guitars….The remark he made in Vegas was rude and shows a different side to being a christian…
I don’t know, kris allen is not that great an artist and has little charisma but he won and like some of the ones that won, did not go further than just winning. the runnerups are really the ones that win, like jennifer hudson. i think the reason he is not the artist that adam is is because they are really different and i really have trouble with people who profess to be christian and go for fame. man the word ‘idol’ is really against what a christian is. but bashing in public is not the behavior of any christian. so, adam is really the one that is going to go further than allen.
