Angela Martin is one of the featured contestants in the American Idol Season 9 commercials. Her mother Viola Brown Martin has been missing since Christmas. She left the family’s house on Saturday to visit another daughter but never arrived. Her car was found this morning.
Angela Martin has a daughter with Rett Syndrome and her father was murdered two weeks before her Hollywood audition during Season 8.

I’m a cynic. This is her 3rd time. Hope this is not a publicity stunt?
I remember her from the first time, and I thought she sang really well, but there was something about her that did not scream “STAR”…I remember her child….and she sings at weddings, events, and things like that. And once again, Chicago has a bad rep with a AI contestant having someone murdered….this doesn’t make the city look good and I’m from Chicago.

Come on now this is not a publiity stunt – OMG lets have my mother go missing so I can get on the show, please. Anyway this girl has had it rough her daughter has retts syndrome, I remember her in Vegas with them saying her father died a little after her audition and now this. Hopefully she makes it this time I was so anticipating seeing her last season, and I hope and pray her mother is found.

I personally Know Angela and Im in shocked to think that anyone would fake their mother being missing. All I can say is yes this is her third time on the show she’s just had some bad breaks. The World has yet to hear this ANGEL really sing. Please stop being negative about Chicago We have a Great city and Love Angela Putting it to the Map At AI. Say this She AINT A QUITTER!!!!!
