Nice fact: Danny Gokey is the first third-place finisher to be signed by 19 Records. True! He broke the trend. Third place will not be the kiss of career death anymore moving forward. Although, Syesha Mercado is currently headlining the Dreamgirls tour which isn’t so bad. Other notable third-placers who are still working are Kimberley Locke, Melinda Doolittle and Elliott Yamin.

My Best Days Are Ahead Of Me is a song that is made for a movie soundtrack. I also can’t wait for the Danny’s video. I think it will be a lot of fun.

Danny is the first male idol in all 8 seasons to sign with 19E and a major Country label – RCA Nashville. He is also the only 3rd place finisher to record with 19E. And he is the only 2nd Idol Mark Bright has been producer for.

Yes, Tim you are correct! RCA Nashville is no independent label, lol.

Danny is working with some excellent songwriters in Nashville, as well as Mark Bright, A list producer who has produced Carrie Underwood and Rascal Flatts.

I was there at Grafton and he sounded Fabulous. Looked great too =)

I am amazed how great he sounded in a big High School gymnasium with only a little recorded backup music. The guy really does excel at live performances.

I was at the Grafton concert, too. It was so great! Besides Danny’s great vocals, he is such a great guy! He took the kids out of the crowd (including my daughter) and danced with them to PYT! So fun! I can’t wait to buy his music!
