As for Adam. Well he’s certainly getting what he wanted. Lots and lots of attention. And his comments about GMA were very respectful actually.

I do hope in the future that he tones it down slightly and lets his talent shine more instead of the controversy.

I forgot to mention that the sales Amazon does on MANY ALBUMS is to offset the competition they get from iTunes. Duh.

Adam is NUMBER 5 AND 10 on top ALBUM charts for iTunes with over 2000 reviews for his #5 spot alone. No sales there my friend.

I’d say that’s pretty darn good.

Oh and don’t forget when his album was up for PRE ORDER from amazon it shot up to the top spot…

Being the winner, he can never win the argument in sales numbers…

The proof is always in the second album sales. And, I agree with kassandra–the cheap price is to boost numbers. To compare Kris and Adam, especially in this economy, with the price difference will be unfair.

I must say that all this about other female artists (and some male, too) doing similar. Yes, that is true. But, Adam and Adam fans should realize most are done in concerts, on videos or cable channels that parents can block. I cannot think of one other, male or female, that did their entire sexual repertoire all within a single 2 minute song. On ABC. In primetime.

The “kiss” was edited out on west coast. This is giving rise to the theory of discrimination–the gay thing. Most ppl did NOT find that offensive. It was everything else, not that kiss. The public did not have editorial powers. But, Adam should realize, too, that the public will get pissed off with comments he has been quoted with, “I am a performer, not a baby-sitter.” Not smart, Adam. Not smart. Don’t piss on kid’s heads. There might be a wind coming.

I’m with Rickey on this one. Although I think Brit knows she has a lot of child fans and should act a little more appropriately on tv to show respect for them. Adam’s performance was not defendable. None of his act showed his talent, and for this it was a waste. But his antics were not for prime time tv, and made me like him a little less. I was a big fan until that show. I saw a narcissistic nature I didn’t see before in Adam. It’s not the Adam I admired on the AI show. And I didn’t care for his singing on AMA’s neither.

Something to ponder, Adam. If your acts can’t be trusted for prime time tv, you are eventually not going to get tv spots, and thus, you won’t get the media attention you need to boost your career. You might have waited until you were actually “star” status before pulling something like that off. And on prime time tv? Really, Adam?
