I am a Senior Citizen and recall many taboos in the past. When I was a young woman I recall they would only show Elvis from the waist up.
Why don’t we learn from out mistakes. Adam will be a big star and no one can stop him. I hope Adam’s fans boycott ABC to show them they are wrong. Watch CBS instead. What a stupid thing from ABC to do.

abc. good lord they are babies. Come on it one ONE performance it isn’t like he murdered someone get over it everyone. If these people actuslly supported adam they would have known how he was pre idol so I don’t wanna here oh it was a shock cause its not.

also they knew how he was going to perform on ama because rehersals so come on this was all some mean way to try and hurt adams career. u can’t tell me they didn’t approve it because they have to approve all the performances before live showings.

jeez, it was stupid of them to cancel… this would’ve been the juiciest tidbit they could go over… and they threw it away! i’m sticking with Adam… thing is I dunno why he had to flip the audience… He’d go lewd but not angry… i’d rather know why…and rickey i suppose the glambert hate you’ve been getting has you mega sarcastic…

It’s not career ending. He just needs great album sales. It’s ABC – what do you expect? But it’s not a good way to kick off his career is it?

I won’t be watching any more ABC shows. They are HYOPCRITES. On The View this morning the ladies talked about “Sully” the hero of the plane landing having “rock star” sex with his wife, and then Sherri went on to say, “saving people is sexy,” and something about telling a guy to take off all his clothes. Then Robbin Williams came out and they talked about vaginas. This is at 11AM. This is a family show????
The entire AMA show was loaded with sexual performances that were over the top. Why would any one allow their children to watch it and stay up that late? And Adam who was on at 11PM is the only offensive act? You goofed big time ABC.
Maybe Adam’s voice didn’t sound that great at the AMAS but I have downloaded all his new singles on ITUNES and his voice is rich and clear.

ABC is a bunch of assholes for cancelling him. Big mistake really. I think he was excellent and gave everyone a show on the AMA. For those who are saying they were his fans and now are not after viewing that performance, seems to me you were NEVER a Lambert fan. This is what he is made of. Way to go CBS.
