Okay guys, I think this is way too low 3 days after the album was released.

The reviews have been mostly positive, so I don’t understand.

Entertainment Weekly says: “… Allen’s appealing pipes (that adorable little hitch in his voice!) to sew this patchwork of pop production-for-hire together … ultimately provide the album’s strongest selling point.” Grade: B-

i will reason out this one. LLWD is an okay song but not great. he is up against so many well known artists with huge fan based. people are more into movies than music with the showing of New Moon and 2012. The timing of album release is very bad. this is my opinion and maybe wrong or right depending on where you stand.

You’re kidding right? I think that’s great.You see who’s in front of him, right? LOL

Adam zoomed to number one in 24 hours because there was a pent up demand with probably Idol fans who were waiting not wanting to buy from adam official or didnt know about it…and on the SAME DAY Perez Hilton razzed him and he responded. So he mighta picked up some who didn’t know there was an adam lambert album.

Then in 2 days he started dropping to about 10 for awhile.

There are new releases all the time and churn. HOW is Kris gonna beat Gaga and Janet Jackson this in two days? LMAO

Wait…did you really believe the number of 38 million votes or whatever meant anything?

No, your right Trish. Also with all the piracy going on it looks like alot of artists sales are lower than they have been in previous years. Even the biggest artists with #1 albums on itunes are not immune to this. 200k-300k units sold is not alot if you think about it compared to years before. All we can do is support Kris and hopefully things will tend to get better in the music industry in the future. Well we can hope right?

I’m a Danny fan; so am trying to think objectively.

I do like Kris; after tour he was my 3rd favorite.
I bought and love LWWD; still think that song could go up in the charts. I guess his album so far doesn’t excite me sight unseen; I need to hear a little more.

I thought EW were huge Kris fans? B- is kind of a slam.

I also think 19 is not giving Kris the publicity he deserves; they are pimping Adam way over Kris IMO.

It’s because he hasn’t really been in the spot light that much, since he’s not an attention whore.
And it’s because only bad music sells (I.E. Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus)

Just my humble opinion, but I think this album is dull as dishwater. All the songs are boring and sound alike. Allen’s vocals sound nasal, and a good portion of the time hard to understand what he’s saying. There is a certain fringe of people who like this type of music (low-key, sleep inducing), but I’m not one of them. I really can’t see this album gaining him any new fans. Probably only his loyal AI fans will enjoy it.

Peeps just aren’t feeling Kris’s version of LLWD….sounds like he’s trying to rap his way thru the song.
The rest of the album is just ordinary and a bit boring.
Widdle Kwis will never fill John Mayers’ shoes….literally nor musically.

Adam is so excited about his AMA performance….

Well, here’s one “low-key, sleep-inducing” person. I like the album (and I know practically nothing about Season 8).

For some reason, LLWD is doing better on the radio and on the Billboard charts even though mainstream media has been promoting FYE continually for six months now.

I understand what you all say, and I like Kris. So, what’s in for Allison Iraheta and her wonderful voice, she is not going to outsell Kris, let alone Adam … and she is really good !

Kris’s album is fine, I for one love it, some like screaming and vocal gymnastics some like heartfelt and meaningful lyrics, I am of the latter.

He’s talking about the album sales not LLWD single. Actually when I checked the charts on Thursday (11/19), the album was #10 on Top Album Sales on iTunes. AND for Top Pop Album sales, it was #4 and the Walmart exclusive one was #5 (Canada was #6 & #10 respectively). Can someone tell me why the regular self-titled and self-titled Walmart exclusive are counted as SEPARATE albums? The only difference is the extra bonus songs. Dumb.

i listened to his cd and its alright nothing special , i liked his first single than the album just drops off from there , it just sounds like everything else you can buy just sightly worse than everything else. Its sad when kris is a lot better than whats on his cd though. hes more of a jason maraz type of singer and all of the sudden this weird popish bad rock kris allen comes out instead? i like kris but his cd is good if you want something boring to listin to and put you to sleep. highly dissipointed.

Kris Allen, I’m buy your CD instead Adam Lambert’s. Your the real American Idol. Your more genuine and not a poseur. After Adam’s performance at the VMA’s which sucked by the way, you earned yourself another fan. Adam lost one. Thanks for being yourself.

i like kris, he is a nice person and simple but i do not think he will go far in music. his voice sounds very karaoke type. i do hope he will end up song writer rather than a singer and he will do justice for himself. all the best kris.
