Simply the Best! This guy is just amazing! That voice, the boynextdoor demeanor…he’s like your best friend! I’m SOOOO excited for my man! This CD is nothing like another other idol alum’s CD…it’s honest, pure, raw! Elliott co-wrote half of the songs and although the lyrics are simple as can be, Elliott delivers his WORDS impeccably! He’s new to all this BUT he did a wonderful job for his first record! GO ELLIOTT!! Can’t wait to see him on tour! THis man will melt everyone’s heart with his powerhouse vocals and his beautiful charm…Ya just wanna give this guy a BIG HUG! thankx so much rickey for posting these appearances of our boy! YEAHHH

If you are going to purchase Elliott’s CD…you REALLY might want to consider the iTunes download of the whole album which gives you 2 great bonus tracks. If you don’t…you will miss one of the BEST rendiditons of “Whiter Shade of Pale”. BTW, I didn’t recognize the title, but recognized this well sung song immediately as Elliott began to sing the lyrics.
I heard that the bonus track (WSOP) was going to be good…and I downloaded from iTunes just before AI6 started last night…so I didn’t get a chance to listen to it til the show was over.
OMG,OMG,OMG…I had a religious experience before the song was over…Elliott rips into this song like…OMG. I thought “A Song For You” and “Train Wreck” and Take My Breath Away” gave us Elliott wringing the emotions from a song…BUT OH MY GAWD…half way into the “Whiter Shade of Pale”…Elliott starts singing with sooo much passion…it’s like the “Spirit” takes control like a Pentecostal preacher in a hot summer’s night charismatic tent revival! OMG, I felt like I should have went up and gave my “hand” to the preacher after Elliott got thru with (WSOP)!

I love this CD. The bonus track from Itunes – ‘Whiter shade of pale’ – is breathtaking. I love also ‘FREE’ and ‘You are the One’ and ‘Alright’. I can’t decide which is my favorite. It’s the best CD I have ever bought.

I bought the album from ITunes as well as ordering 3 from Amazon and it was worth the extra outlay just to hear AWSOP. This man is going to be huge in the music industry. Oh, and if you think his lyrics are too simple…”I saw your face in a crowded place and I don’t know what to do.” and that isn’t simple? C’mon people, give him a break here.
This cd is amazing. There is no way at this point that I could even choose a favorite track- I love them all. So far I’ve bought one from Wal-Mart, one from Virgin Records (no bonus tracks– but I did get to meet Elliott) and I will probably download the cd from I-Tunes. I seriously need to hear his version of “A Whiter Shade of Pale”. Everyone’s been raving about it. Just wish I could purchase that song only from I-Tunes. I am so proud of Elliott- he made the record he wanted to make on his own terms. Bravo, Elliott and much continued success!!
Can someone who purchased their CD from WalMart describe it? Does it have the bonus tracks listed…or is it a surprise that you find out when you get to the “supposedly” last track…and there are 2 more.
I ask, because I went to WalMart and it only had 11 tracks listed on the back…and no mention of the bonus tracks…so I passed and went to Target where the CDs there have the bonus tracks listed.

RATS!!! Wal*Marts CD is for PC owners only (unless you have one of the new Duo MACs running Windows XP or Windows 2000 (NT5) and Internet Explorer 6
The bad thing is…you don’t find this out until you’ve ripped off the cellophane (which makes it unreturnable). There’s a little insert inside the CD with a CODE on it…you go to Wal*Marts website and download the two bonus tracks.
But if you are on a MAC…you get BUPKISS
…basically two files taking up residence on your desktop that you can’t do a darn thing with…ARRRRGGGHHHHHHH! 
I bought the CD from Target – and the bonus tracks don’t appear to be there. They don’t play on my car cd player, nor do they show up when I ripped the cd to my iTunes music library. What gives? Is there a secret I don’t know about? They don’t play mysteriously at the end of track #11 either. . . HELP!

The CD from Target has the two bonus tracks on a seperate CD. The CD jewel case contains 2 CDs, once you take out the 1st CD (the one you normally see)…the bonus CD is on the back side of the center plastic piece that secures the CD…and you get to it by flipping the center piece over. Grab the left edge of the jewel case and flip it over to the right.
This is, of course, if the CD liner says that it contains the bonus tracks…if the bonus tracks aren’t listed on the back…then you won’t have the extra CD.
