Go Travis Wall! (Stage rant: There was only one camera angle that the background and lighting looked good — when the cameras switched it was jarring and just took away from the great choreography. This stage is killing this show every week.)

I agree that the stage is indeed killing the show. The stage does not feature dancing very well.

Travis is turning out to be such a great choreographer. I hope he can come up with something different though for the next routine. I mean the whole relationship thing is great and all, but… it’s a bit of the same. Which isn’t totally bad but, I just want to see him do something different.
As for the dancers, I thought they did great, although I was a bit frustrated that Ryan lucked out by getting a Travis routine.

Wow! Ellenore and Ryan did a gorgeous job with this routine. Definitely one of the Season’s Best! Can’t wait to see it performed live on the Tour!!!

It was good but it just made me dislike Ryan even more (and worship Travis!)
This is totally petty and obviously not the main reason for my dislike of Ryan but does anyone else think his eyebrows are terribly over-shaped and almost womanly looking?

omg Claire… the eyebrows! I said the same thing when they did the closeups during the judges’ comments. I don’t really dislike Ryan though… I just don’t really like him either. The dance, however, was great.

This was good but not the best of the season. Legacy and Kathryn’s contemporary was better…

The lifts were amazing!!! So smooth and strong, and Ellenore went for it with total abandon.

Ellenore is BY FAR the strongest femail dancer. She is AMAZING! Too bad she is stuck with Ryan, he brings her down IMO. But, please please let her be safe and make it to Top Ten and be able to dance with another partner (Jakob, perhaps?)

I’m not sure why everyone liked this performance! Perhaps it was the camera angle, but I didn’t sense any chemistry from these two. The music wasn’t right, too hipster-ish for these two straights to pull it off, and the yellow dress didn’t work. I agree Ryan made the lifts look easy. I think they should have been paired with different people. And, though I really really like Travis, I swear I’ve seen some of the same moves from his other dances. Oh, well.

This piece actually made me like Ryan a little more because he softened up…and his cheese level was stripped away. If they’d stop making him perform bare-chested, it might be easier to like him.

As for Ellenore, she is lovely and a joy to watch. Loved this performance!
