Whataya Want From Me – This is good. Composed by Pink.

Strut – IS AMAZING! Composed by Kara DioGuardi.

Soaked – Loved this. Composed by Muse. Listen to the demo.

Sure Fire Winners – Hmmm. Knowing how I like cheesy music, this might end up as my favorite. It sounds like the theme song of a campy 70s TV show.

A Loaded Smile – LOVE THIS. Thank you Adam.

If I Had You – Woohoo! Dance music now. I love this.

Pick U Up – This sounds like a glorified Broadway showtune to me, LOL

Fever – The video potentials. Composed by Lady Gaga.

Sleepwalker – “I can see your halo, halo, halo…” Composed by Ryan Tedder

Aftermath – An adult contemporary song! Composed by Ferras.

Broken Open – Sounds like another glorified Broadway showtune to me.

Time For Miracles – This song failed to gain ground even as the end theme for last weekend’s blockbuster movie 2012

This is hands down the best debut album by anyone ever on AI. Adam did himself proud. I’m so happy he got to make the album he wanted. It’s impossible to pick a favorite song although Soaked is amazing with Adam’s soaring vocals … just wow! Sleepwalker is another fantastic one. That will be a smash hit if it’s released as a single. Can’t wait for the grammys.

Adam Lambert is channeling the alter egos of all the songwriters. Yes he did it well… but the imprint of all the songwriters is so damn obvious that it seems as though adam’s merely the amplifier for the voice of the songwriters.
It is a landmark album but i’m not going to buy it because of the cover.

Very impressed! This is exactly the album Adam said he would do! Funny tho, some of my less favorites from the snippets are now on top of the list. I love it!

Adam’s new band should be incredible, Monty is a long time friend of Adam before AI and was Madonna’s tour guitarist and his new drummer Longineu Parsons is just outstanding: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AspsjdiOVO8 cannot wait for them to hit the road and see them in concert!

Album of the decade! What a beautiful voice. All the songs are great. Pick U UP is one of my favorites. What’s wrong with Broadway showtunes? I love Broadway. There is something here for everybody. I can just imagine the great musical videos that will be made in the next few months. Thanks Adam. You are the best!

Most of the songs sound like they’re from a soundtrack of a bad 1980’s movie. It’s almost like Lambert has no idea who he is as an artist, he’s all over the place, and I don’t hear “SUPERSTAR” in his voice. I hear a voice of a thousand other singer, he’s not original in that. I honestly couldn’t listen to more than 20 seconds of each song.

01. MUSIC AGAIN:

Comments: Great, fun dance song with a Queen like chorus. Very catchy. You can really feel the glam-rock expressionism pouring out of this song, but in good nostalgic way. Love the changes in this piece. Cool guitar riffs. Makes me wat to go up top a rooftop and shout “Man, I’m feelin’ good today. Glambert…and damn proud of it!”

Comments: Fun, dance club song. Will be played at every stripper joint from Los Angeles to New York. Great Adam signature scream. I didn’t like this song when it first came out but now that I’ve listened to it a couple a billion times, I’ve totally fallen in love with it. Perfect title song and I understand now why it was the first to be released.

Comments: Love the lyrics and love singing along with this tune. Found myself waking up singing this song after hearing the extended song snippet a few days ago. Great Adam scream. Sounds like he really worked on this to make it just right. Its rock, not glam.

Comments: Great beat, but sorry Kara, could have been better for a song with such a huge title. Lyrics are all over the place. Fun guitar in the middle, but not a great chourus. Kinda cheesy overall.

Comments: Beautiful song, with beautiful lyrics, sung beautifully by a beautiful man seeking a beautiful relationship with life. Got a slight Beatles feels to it, has a familiar epic 1940s “The Thief Of Bagdad” movie insertion which I think is really very cool. Slow and mesmerizing.

Comments: Has a lyrical feeling like something from Bon Jovi and then jumps into chanting styles from AC/DC and Def Leopard. Lyrics are great. Love the squishy sounds like someone stepping in a rain puddle. And that echoing timpani drum is a great addition. Traditional Adam screams at the right times.

Comments: “I never felt so satisfied” with a song as this one. Dont need a dance partner, just me and a bottle of Merlot from the Central coast to reflect on life. This probably will not not be a radio top 40 hit, but it is an hit song on this album. Its personal, between you and your stereo.

09. PICK U UP:
(Writers: Rivers Cuomo, Greg Wells, Adam Lambert Producer – Greg Wells)

Genre: POP Grade: B+ (HIT potential)

Comments: Fun song. At one point I feel like I’m at 1:45 with the bar closing and making a choice on who to go home with and then again it also could make you feel like you would sing this in front of someone’s house who you’ve been stalkin for about 10 years. There’s a slight Def Leopard riff in there somewhere. I’d be surprized if someone didn’t pick this up for a movie title song. Could DO WITHOUT the chuckle at the end, Spoils the whole song.

Comments: Good, driving ROCK anthem beat. Memorable, easy going lyrics. Best Guitar solo in whole albumn, reminds me of Prince. Big drums. Will be a big live tune at concerts for audience participation. One of my favorites.

Comments: Forgetable tune, but could get some radio air play. In the aftermath of what? An attempt at a rock tune, not very successfully pulled off.

3. BROKEN OPEN:

Genre: POP Grade: B

Comments: Melody will melt you down and haunt you. You may wake up late at night and needing this song near you just for comfort’s sake. Couldn’t really make out all the lyrics, but its Adam’s voice that says it all and the way he carries the tune.

I’ve posted on this website a total of maybe SIX times. What are you talking about? I happen to be one of the few people who don’t care what backlash I get, I happen to think Lambert is one of the most overrated people to EVER come out of AI, on any season. He’s also vile and doesn’t try and filter anything that comes out of his mouth, nor does he try to tone down his offensiveness. What he said about the oral sex he had with a female almost made me vomit. What in the world would he have to gain after saying something like that?

I am in LOVE with this album!! I wasn’t crazy about For Your Entertainment, and the clips sounded good, but not great, so I was worried. But after listening to the album, I think its so, so, so AMAZING!! I can’t wait to buy my copy!

This is a strange album.

I feel it’s too uneven to be considered an album, honestly. It’s more like a compilation of singles. It kinda plays like Santana’s “Supernatural” album, but with a little less soulful continuity… though that album sold extremely well. It’s a little tough to detect a personal expression… maybe it’s the order of the tracks. It feels like this is two 6-8 song albums that aren’t fully explored – an EP of rock songs, and an EP of dance club pop. The latter is more realized.

“Music Again” and “A Loaded Smile” are still the sounds I prefer from him. “Broken Up” also sounds great.

I like how musical theater “Pick U Up” is, and that laugh is refreshing… probably the best moment.

It’s an interesting mix of David Bowie, Freddy Mercury, George Michael, and a robot from 1981.

I find most of the songs easier to listen to than his shrieking on the show; but I don’t see how he’s going to do any of this live.

i thought soaked was pretty bad, muses song thats out now i can picture adam singing.

sleepwalker is decent, fye became better to me after hearing the snippets of the other songs i felt were laughable.

The songs don’t have much originality but catchy as hell. And there are different styles of mucic.

I can see Adam now, on stage singing these songs, dancing his brains out and his tour will be so much fun!

I also think that Adam and Lady G should perform a duo on “Fever” to replace the Adam-Allison team-adorable! Only this time, Adam-Lady G would be hotter because together they are rated X–not G for underage Allison.
