Wow! I love this guy. Its not so much that he is the best singer, but he is definitely the best performer. Go Blake!!!!!!!!!!!!

Blake rocks. He’s fresh, confident and his voice is unique. He’s not a Melinda or Lakisha quality voice, but that’s not everything that makes a pop star. Blake has the it factor and he looks like the type of guy you’d wanna hang out with and jam.

It’s real tough to call the best performance tonight – but if I was nailed to the wall, I’d say Blake just minutely edging Jordin – god was he ON tonight. This was just first rate – I’m listening to the vocal without even seeing him and it’s still getting to me. His showmanship though is superb.

I like Blake a lot but this was just okay for me. I thought the vocal was a bit fragile. I think a lot of people like this performance because of the familiarity of the song compared to others performed tonight. In many ways it is good to finally hear a song you know. But as Simon often says, take the video out and just listen to the vocal…not great.

After tonight’s rendition…which I must admit it was very good…I was left wondering if Blake is gay. I know it doesn’t matter, but it was just something that came to my mind when I saw him tonight. Maybe just a tad to “hip” for a straight guy.

I actually appreciate his vocal more after I took out the video. I kept cringing when watching, I was so afraid he would crack at the high note especially with all those fancy dance moves.

IMHO, Chris Richardson has better vocal control but his singing voice is just too annoying for me I had to turn the volume down. I enjoyed Blake’s voice much more regardless of some rough spots.

that was good! I was so afraid he’d butcher it (& I like that song….btw, I knew all of the songs performed tonight so its not just familiarity). But that was beautiful & the beatboxing didn’t detract. Good job.

DI has not been too particularly reliable this season, so I wouldn’t put too much faith in them. Last week, the 3rd, 5th, and 6th place people were the bottom three, and 5th went home.

I like Blake and believe he will be in the top 2. I love the song. Good choice. Liked watching him perform as usual and the arrangement was right. But the vocal was not too impressive to me.

di just makes predictions , they have a pretty broad range blake can be any where between 2-7 which pretty means hes safe. while others say 2-11 which means they can be as high as 2 or as low as 11. it does not count in txt messages either , and it seems like txt message votes have been more important this year then past years. as for blake i think he was awsome this week , and he’ll be back next week and i can’t wait to see what he pulls off again .

I like Blake. Think he’s got talent, although the group of friends and I that watched Idol tonight beleive his talent lies in his ability to arrange music, not sing it.

I thought his performance was cool; but if he’s going to beatbox on every song, it’s going to start to sound unoriginal. I think he’s cute; but I am not letting myself get a crush on him. I would hate to be disappointed if I found out he is gay.

The intro and the lower register singing were some of the sexiest singing I’ve ever heard … ever (combined with his stage presence … hot, hot, hot!). He wasn’t so on inthe higher chorus parts, but ya know what, who cares … total package, eh hem!, best of night. I can’t wait to buy his albums.

I’ve been waiting all day to post about Blake. I literally sat in my classes today replaying this video.

This performances was up there in the Ace “Father Figure” range when dealing with sex appeal. I mean first, you have to like Blake in that way, ha.

But man oh man….did you see the way his hips were moving slowly back and forth? And he made that a dirty dirty song. I mean the lyrics are dirty anyway, if taken that way….

“In this time give it to me easy
And let me try with pleasured hands
(To take you in the sun to) promised lands”

Not to mention the whole, “Who’s your daddy” line.

Anyway…..back to the performance. I thought it was sensational. Blake has such a unique voice. It was smokin’ hot. And I think I shall watch it again.

When I eaw Rickeys adorable Time of The Season Clip, where Rickey was lip synching I at first thought it was The Zombies version. I since then compared the two and Blake really sounds so good. This song choice and his arrangment was just perfect for Blake. Blake just has to be in the top 2. He has so much talent and it shows every week.I love ya Blake.

Straight or gay… no biggie.

Blake’s vocal is not that great but I like him because he sounds different. He reminds me of Coldplay, Chris Martin doesn’t sound that good but I like the group a lot.

When I first saw him singing Somewhere Only We Know by Keane, I was impressed because he sang something that most Americans are not familiar with. Then Virtual Insanity, in my humble opinion as a non-American (I watched AI live via satelite every Wednesday, 6 PM onwards), Blake could easily captivate non-American Music Lovers. I mean, he could sell his albums easily. Whether we will win AI or not, I want to buy his album. Great voices are just so typical. Most of us want creativity and we see that in Blake so far!!! If I could vote, I would vote for him.
