Joe McElderry sings “Somebody To Love” on The X Factor on Queen Week

This was not a good performance by Joe, I thought. The song seems so much bigger than him, though he picked it up in the end with the falsetto.

Dannii Minogue: “You bring it on every week.”
Louis Walsh: “I love your stage craft. I think the choir helped you.”
Simon Cowell: “I think you sang better last week. The song slightly overwhelmed you.”
Cheryl Cole: “It’s irrelevant what they say. You are technically the best singer in this competition.”

this was just ok in my opinion… check out elliott yamin’s version from idol he was fantastic.. this is just kind of mediocre. might be the end of the road for him

Joe McElderry – “Somebody to Love” – Pleasant in parts but he doesn’t have the X-Factor for a recording artist. He should do musical theatre. 3/5
