Kris Allen sang Live Like We’re Dying on the Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien.

I was bit disappointed with the random band dudes at the back. Reminded me of David Archuleta’s band during his first TV appearance singing “Crush”. And drummer with Ed-Hardy-inspired Ed Harris t-shirt. LOL

Good luck Kris Allen! Thanks for the nice words you had for me recently. Hope to see you soon one day.

The beginning of the song reminds me so much of Maroon 5’s Sunday Morning. LLWYD is too wordy. I’ll be interested to hear what else is on his album. This obvously was not the best song to release as a single but that is often the case when albums are released. Decent job Kris, but I do think I heard a few clunker notes.

Yay for Pocket Idol!

While not the best song off the album it sounds better with the live arrangement.

However the guy doing backing vocals standing to Kris’ left needs to get his act together.

Conan is 6′4 and his head is HUGE. I noticed that before with other singers and bands. When Conan goes over to talk to them he is like a giant…lol

Kris is so good last night, and that is hard song to sing, but Kris pulled it off really great.

I didn’t hear any klunker notes. I thought Kris was great and this is a great single. I guess some people are just really trying to find faults on Kris.

Kris did an amazing job, overtime, his band would play along with Kris Singing I love the performance, and that song is really hard to sing, but Kris did an amazing job.

I enjoyed the live performance very much! I like the song, like the video, but live is best! Heard this tune playing at my local walgreen’s the other day while picking up a prescription! And right after I heard Boston by Augustana, which i think sounds alot like Kris’ style of music:)

Honestly, I was a kris fan during the AI journey but I am kind of losing interest recently. I didn’t like LLWD and I was hoping it might be better live, like heartless which he did a great job btw, but LLWD live is horrible.too much words,kris was out of breath, I can see his blood vessels swelling on his face/neck and he was off key so many times. I think it would have been better if he released something with lower key instead of this “crumb’song which is rediculous….with this being said good luck kris,as for me I am off the Kris wagon.

Yes. I keep saying. Technique. Vocal training. Kris has had some you can see because stopped the side mouth singing pretty much. The face and neck strain is VERY VERY VERY BAD. You cannot sing properly with facial tension. There are exercises for that. He also is not singing with a mouth in an O shape but in a horizontal O – a new thing. I think it’s nerves. Yes he’s slightly under the note at the upper range and strains. I like the song for him. ALot of words? meh…he can do the words by now…Unless he works on the technique it’s never gonna be “right” to the ear. I like the guy and hope he keeps improving.He has a voice. But let’s not kid ourselves. And I don’t like to be on the edge of my seat hoping the singer is gonna pull it off. Even unusual voices like Gaga and Pink have power and confidence. Katy Perry? wtf is that? Yeah yeah I know. Singers are supposed to be all about cute and not about voice since the studio makes them mostly MOSTLY sound ok.

awww man i liked the side mouth singing. it made him so distinctly kris. there r too many words in this song but he did a great job with it
