I do not understand the fuss about Taylor Swift. Sure, she’s cute, but she absolutely CANNOT sing. Have you heard her live? Not good.

But Carrie – she is unbelievable live. Isn’t vocal ability important anymore?

I don’t want to see her dressed so revealingly like that. (Don’t get me wrong. She looks amazing doing it, but I don’t want her to be seen as one of those scantily-clad female singers. She has much more class than that.)

Mary, I agree with your Carrie vs. Taylor thing. Taylor is often flat when she sings live, Carrie is nearly always pitch-perfect. I was never a Carrie fan on AI, but she definitely has proven her star-status. And, “CC” is one of my favorite Carrie songs.

It was a TRAVESTY that Taylor Swift won female vocalist – just embarrasing really – yes, cute,
yes, catchy fun lyrics. NO, she cannot sing
and is for sure NOT a vocalist. Carrie was stunning even just singing ditties with Brad. Please,how did Taylor possibly win female vocalist. And there sat Carrie, Reba, Faith
and Martina oh and M. Lambert. it was just again, awkward and embarrasing. I love all those country folk though, so warm and genuine – great talentand Lady Antebellum is to die for.

I am a huge fan of Carrie Underwood…. I first noticed her watching the grammies 2007 when she won two awards and sang her hit, Jesus take the wheel… and i was so impressed thinking she was an angel disguised as a country western pop star… friends of mine put us in contact as it turns out she was a huge fan of mine having bought one of dresses after winning american idol.. i knew it was a sign of GOD! I ve been so lucky to work with her and her super stylist trish townsend on her carnival album cover, enchanted video, american idol performances. etc etc. Carrie is even more devine in person! she realy is an angel in disguise, after all
