UGH, WTF crawled up Nigel’s ass and died. I swear.
Why the hell was he ragging on Nathan. Yeah his routine last night wasn’t very good, but to take his little comment he made so freakin seriously, when obviously what Nathan was doing was just having some fun… just ugh. Nigel needs to chill the frick out and calm down. He could’ve said what he did in a lot less pissy manner.

Anyways…. Peter was growing on me. I would’ve rather have seen Ryan go home. That hiphop routine was awful and then his almost head-plant w/ his backflip in his solo was pathetic.

Anybody else want to throttle Nigel tonight? It’s a live show, sometimes I don’t think that he thinks about what he is saying before it comes out of his mouth.

About Nathan – it’s called having a positive attitude and moving on from a bad performance. Personally, I agreed with the bottom 3 couples. As for Mollee/Nathan vs. Karen/Kevin, I believe that Mollee and Nathan’s previous dances were better than the others. Some people may completely disagree with me, but I don’t think that season 5’s solos were much better, some, but not to the amount that Nigel was saying.

I too was very surprised at Nigel’s language. After all, it was he and the other judges who discovered and selected these people. He sounded like one of my old schoolteachers when we didn’t meet her expectations. He was way out of line especially when he told the audience to shut up and for what he said to Nathan. He ranted and ranted and It was getting quite embarrassing. Anyway, I do like Nathan, I think he is a great dancer for his age and I truly believe he will become even better with all of the great choreographers.

I guess I’m the only one really sad to see Peter go. I thought he was a good dancer and had such an expressive face when danced. I was really surprised at the bottom three. There are some seriously bad dancers on this show who are just being pushed along while other, better dancers, go home. Ah well I rarely agree with the majority I find.

Wow – Nigel! Way to be an a$$h@t! Not necessary! Hard not to feel bad for Nathan. I also liked Peter. He is such an upbeat and cheerful soul. Guess if you don’t give Nigel a tingling in his privates (Karen) you are going home.

Oh you’re not the only one that was sad to see Peter go. I still think Ryan, or that other guy should’ve gone (mainly Ryan though b/c the other guy did do semi-well in his routine).
And glad to see that others thought Nigel was out of line as well.
I forgot to mention his rant on the solos.
Yeah Some solos aren’t great, but neither were most of them last season, or the ones before that, and the ones before that, etc etc.
Nigel just had a huge stick up his ass tonight. He just gave proof of male-PMS

the voting system of this show sucks. the voting should be per individual and not by partner. it’s not fair that somebody tags along to somebody’s popularity. for example, legacy and kathryn, if voted individually, im sure kathryn will be in the bottom.

i already knew peter and pauline will get the boot. what bad luck they have especially pauline to pick 2 of the worst ballroom dances, waltz and quickstep.

this is rigged, the producers already planned who they want to go and what dance they should get to guarantee it.

done watching this show. no more natural ethnicity and expressive tap dancer to watch. yeah i like Peter, i think he is the handsomest of the bunch. Pauline is the cutest.

thank god that legacy an katheryn were safe! I was so scared!!! and I really liked the group number, thankfully they gave some spotlight to legacy this time around cause last time I didnt even see him.

i totally understand and agree with NIgel’s speech to Nathan. Nathan’s dance the other night was bad, partially because he seemed to be busy with himself rather than in connecting with his partner. His comment at the end showed nothing but pride and immaturity. Nigel wants the best for the show, and the best would be if everyone does their best and improves. Nathan’s remark showed that he did not take the judges’ comments in. Since he got a lot of votes there was a danger he would remain arrogant and won’t improve.

Nigel’s speech was the best thing that could have happened to Nathan at such an early stage of the competition and his career.

To the person who compared Nigel to a school teacher– you are right. but it does not mean that Nigel was mean, it means that parents, school teachers, and these judges understand that compassion does not entail– accepting everything. If you want someone to improve and grow, the best thing you can sometimes do is be hard on them.

and yes, i wish ryan had gone home last night rather than Peter but oh well. i am mainly happy that Karen stayed. she is the most mature and sexy dancer and definitely stands out in this bunch of kids.

Shoot. The one person who I thought had personality, Peter, is gone! That’s… a real bummer. He has a charm about him. Not because of his looks, but from the prepackages and all that jazz, he seems likeable to me. This season isn’t exacty livin up to the hype yet for me, but there’s still weeks to go… so I’m hoping people will step up with the dancing/choreo. And bring us some personality with it! Be a bit goofy or out there, idk. Just somethinnn.

Nigel was just HORRIBLE with Nathan!

The problem was actually Cat’s question: “Did you guys feel uncomfortable?” What was Nathan supposed to say? “Huh yeah we felt so uncomfortable, and we sucked, please don’t vote for us!”???

He had to react fast, and he just tried to answer Cat’s stupid question (sorry Cat, usually love you) and make light of the situation, like many others have done in similar situations. And then Nigel proceeded to say “Well maybe you didn’t learn anything”… oh PULEEZE, get over yourself!

And then Nigel had to bring it up again the day after and act like a total jerk. He totally reminded me of Simon Cowell when he goes after a singer again and again when he doesn’t succeed in breaking their spirit as he would like with a first round of criticism.

Nigel’s behavior was totally uncalled for, and he humiliated somebody who didn’t deserve it. And he also had the nerve to let Nathan and Mollee have it because he was frustrated with the results of the voting!

He actyally went on to say on his Twitter profile after performance night : “Two more dancers will be leaving us tonight. I don’t want any complaints from people who didn’t vote. ”

So he did emphasize that it was in the hands of the public, but became a total crybaby and a**whole when the vote didn’t go his way.

He’s the one who would have deserved to be voted out!

Karen and Kevin are overrated. Kevin moons at the camera, as if being a model is pretty much all he has to do to win votes. He’s pretentious. Karen–she’s okay. But there are far better dancers on the show. I was NOT surprised to see them in the bottom 3 at all. They belonged there.

Howl, I agree with you about Kevin.I thought I was the only one who felt like he was conceited. His Hustle was not good and his Cha-Cha on week one was worse. Yet, the judges keep pushing him forward. Not fair.
Peter has been mostly all personality. Even the judges have appreciated his ability to add color and drama to the characters. And now they tell him he didn’t have the star quality? If anything, it was his charm and performance that made up for his lack of perfect technique.He made it look easy and fun even when the dancing was not perfect.
Ryan has been a solid partner and only ballroom dancer who will come through big time for most of the dances that require super partnering skills. So, I don’t think it was his turn to go home yet. For instance, he would have blown through that street style salsa that even the best contemporary dancers like Nathan and Jacob will struggle with. Salsa, while it looks easy is not just about the lifts,the jumps and tricks like in other ballroom routines. It is mainly about the timing, connection with the partner and styling. Just like contemporary you need have years of experience to evoke that suave smooth styling that Mary was talking about.
Anyway, It should have been Kevin to go home.
