Why would someone put out an album that isn’t auto-tuned? I’m pretty sure you have no idea what you’re talking about. As long as he didn’t use auto-tuned to create different sounds and un-hittable notes, I’m happy.

There IS such a thing as being over auto-tuned. I think they’ve done a pretty good job at keeping it subtle but to be honest I actually like a little roughness/slight off-key points in songs sometimes. It’s a reminder that they are human and lets us know that they can actually sing.

autotune is the box that adds the special effects like echo. You can even read it on wiki. Instead of snarking here about something you know nothing about.

it CAN ALSO BE for voice. Now, are you seriously with a straight face asserting that adam lambert’s voice needs autotune? ROFLMAO. you guys just keep embarassing yourselves more and more.

I think we´re not used to hear Adam´s voice in a record, just singing live, but I don´t think he´s over auto-tuned, just the normal thing to make album sound like an album, not like a live performance

I can’t believe some of the people on here are complaining about Adam’s album. You should be thanking Adam for delivering what he promised us. This album, from what I have heard so far, is absolutely the best I have heard in a long, long time. It is going to be a mega hit!! And the best part is yet to come. Wait until he starts making videos to some of his songs. GO ADAM!!!

This could probably grow on me, but at first the lyrics seem a bit cheesy and Adam’s voice seems a bit drowned-out from all the other business going on in the song. Oddly, in that way, it reminds me of Jordin. I think both Adam and Jordin had great voices for American Idol – because their voices are very powerful live, but some of the magic of their voices gets lost in a recording because it becomes an even playing field – lots of people sound good with help in a recording. Maybe that doesn’t make sense – it’s not meant as a rip at all. It has to be encouraging for Adam fans to see him recording Pink’s music, because she is obviously a star.

hearing longer preview of 5more songs from FYI album, i’m convinced ordering a dozen as xmas gift to close friends now in amazon. its something i myself will be extremely happy receiving. i pity rickey for bashing voters specifically on the voting as to who’s AI album brings excitement that adam tops. your sentiment does not necessarily follows what majority believes in adam’s capability & capacity as a talent.

After hearing all of Kris Allen’s album and most of Adam Lambert’s album I can safely say without a doubt that the clear winner is Adam Lambert! It’s not even close, Adam has not only absolutely destroyed Kris Allen in terms of quality and talent…he’s also come out with one of the best albums I’ve heard all year. Adam Lambert has HUGE potential; I’m talking Kelly Clarkson/Carrie Underwood potential! Can someone please remind me how Kris Allen “won” over the uber talented Adam Lambert? That still shocks me and irritates me anytime I think of that.

People need to learn the difference between auto-tuning and just post-production and mixing.

Why does he need auto tune? He doesn’t need auto tune. It’s just the usual post-production stuff that makes it all refined and perfect. I should know. My husband does sound engineering on the side.

This is one of my favorite songs so far. It purely gives me chills. His voice is so amazing and pure. And when he says “baby your beautiful” I purely get tears in my eyes. THIS IS GOING TO BE A HELL OF AN ALBUM!!!! GO ADAM! I LOVE YOU!!!!!! <3

I listened to the snippets and I really wanted to love them but was not impressed did not make me want to run out and buy the CD or pre-order it. Maybe it is one of the CD you have to listen to the whole way through before getting an honest opinion. I hope so I really wanted to love his CD.
