Carrie Underwood’s “Play On” debuted atop both Nielsen SoundScan’s country and overall album charts this week, selling nearly 318,000 copies.

Glee, Vol. 1-Glee: The Music debuted with 113,000 copies.

I was expecting bigger numbers. But she’s competing with Michael Jackson’s second week and Glee’s debut. I hope this album has better legs than Carnival Ride. I’m loving this one than Carnival Ride and maybe even more than Some Hearts. I’ll take some songs from Some Hearts and add them to this album. I hope she releases Quitter and What Can I Say. I’m loving Temporary Home but I feel the three promotional songs will never be released as singles. And Change will definitely be featured in Idol.
