A few songs have potential (Scars, Trouble Is) but most of it is way too cookie-cutter for me.

Awesome job Allison! I love it.

lol “standing in the way of my air supply”. For me, dawg, I was concerned at first because I really thought the choruses they sampled were in too high a key…even though she can make the note there’s a strain. But then there are several samples in her right key so who knows.

Considering the rush, her age, her unique style I think it’s great and wasn’t easy to write or find songs that would be perfect but they are probably. I do think she coulda used an actual ballad without an anthem.

I’d like to see her develop a better hit on the words and phrasing but she was definitely better in her diction than during the season. Robot Love was a missed opportunity for that but she’ll get there. I think she was in a tough spot with the braces, then brace removal it’s tricky.

I could listen to these snippets several times so that’s the proof if someone likes it.

Forgot to say she’s dangerously close to Pink and won’t get there overnight so hopefully the younger fans will make her their “Pink”. She can’t keep dong all songs that sound like Heart remakes and soft rock.

I thought she sounded like a cross between Ashlee Simpson, Pink, Gwen Stefani, and Avril Lavigne. I think she has the potential for radio success.

I like it.

The album should do well especially with Miley type fans but I wouldn’t have even recognized it was Allison if I had heard it on the radio first.

Like Chris & other average singers, sounds good autotuned but then always disappoints when the singing is live.

I like this album a lot. I can’t wait to hear the full songs.

The production in the background got a little distracting, and I would have liked to hear more of Allison’s natural voice, but she actually sounded pretty good through it all. I hope this album gets some promotion. We’ll see how the singles perform on the radio. I have high hopes.

I would preferred if she went the rock/soul route, instead of the pop/rock route, but she did a great job with what 19/Jive wanted her to do. Definitely lots of songs that should have commercial and radio appeal and that are strong pop/rock tracks.

Sounds fine but blends together too much for me although I’m not a fan of the genre. I quit during clip of song 10.

This is about what I expected for her and I hope she has success with it.

couple decent trax, but nothing to seperate her from other girl pop singers.

They are really gonna hafta screw up Gokeys cd to not make it the best out of the 4.

Allison… of course i want is and like it because its you. But your live singing is SO MUCH BETTER!!! i love the real rocker sound of your voice when its live, better than the patched-up work in the studio.

Scars, Holiday, and Beat Me Up are my favorites.

I agree with idolfan about preferring the rock/soul style to pop/rock style

“Trouble Is” kinda sounds “Tiny Dancer”

Allison can sell a song live, so I’m guessing these songs will rock a lot harder live. She got the Howard Benson treatment… compare this sound to most other albums he’s produced. He takes the edge off, going for anthems instead of edge. He can make a metal song sound like pop, and it works for the mainstream crowd. This music is more rock than Miley Cyrus and Kelly Clarkson, and a bit less rock than Green Day, Blink 182, and New Found Glory. I’d like to see her team up with someone like The Donnas and Slash next time around… and have Rick Rubin produce.

I think it sounds great! In maybe two songs her voice sounds too squeaky.. but the others she sounds fine. “Trouble Is” DOES sound like Tiny Dancer!!! LOL!

Can’t wait til I hear the whole album! Wow, Looks like Kris, Allison, and Adam all are coming out with pretty good albums! I’m really relieved. I wanted to see them succeed.

From the sniplets I heard, I really LIKE it. Not in love with it, yet. Friday I’ll Be Over You is OUTSTANDING – best single of the 3 by a MILE! The spanish version is every better – because they didn’t put all those effects on her voice. She’s singing PURE! LOVE IT!
