Ugly Betty To Move To Wednesday Night

After Elton is confirming a rumor that ABC will move Ugly Betty to Wednesday nights after Modern Family and Cougartown to complete their “comedy lineup”.

This is a great idea, and hopefully, revives the show. Ugly Betty on Friday night was seen as a sign that ABC was getting rid of the show after this season — so this is a good sign that we’ll have more Betty in the future. That only issue: what will happen to Lost in January since that’s on Wednesday nights?

We’ve been getting a lot of good feedback lately from Noelle’s Ugly Betty recaps, so this makes me giddy.

They need to move it OFF the air. It’s just not funny anymore. Actually it was only funny for about two seconds. Somebody get the hook …..

i dunno. it’s still a rumor. i wouldn’t say its confirmed… until you hear it from ABC, i think its a bit premature to report something like this. i love the idea. it goes well with the two comedies before eastwick but man… they need to make it happen now rather than later since there is a buzz about it moving over.

I’m not from the US so I don’t care if ABC puts Lost every Friday midnight. It’s ending anyway and I’m still watching it anyway just like millions of Losties out there.

This news was also tweeted by Michael Urie (”Mark”), so evidently he knew of it and is hopeful as well.

I am loving this season of UB (and Noelle’s recaps), and I think the move to Wednesday will be nothing short of great for the show.
