Katharine McPhee was at the Glamour Magazing Women of the Year 2009 last night in New York City.

The Women of the Year 2009 are: Rihanna, Maria Shriver, Stella McCartney, Amy Poehler, Marissa Mayer, Serena Williams, Jane Aronson, Susan Rice, Euna Lee & Laura Ling, One Million Signatures Campaign, Maya Angelou and a special recognition for Michelle Obama.

Eye roll at Serena Williams getting this “award” after her verbal abuse of a linesman at the U.S. Open this year.

Kat released a new single on iTunes today: Lifetime!

While I appreciate her attempt to reinvent herself it’s a symptom of her inability to attract a really strong following. You need an identity and her’s was always just meh, even her voice was the most well trained one she could have but never compelling enough or creative enough to impress outside of the finale.

And yes, she looks horrible compared to her natural coloring, the color is not complimentary and she looks old.

Her personality is not blond bombshell.

Conversely, little Pickler pulled that off impeccably and imo looks really cute in her more natural playful red too. And it relates back to who she actually “is”. imo.
