Is this the third single already? And she’s not releasing the album yet. I’m confused. I really like Kat (even if some people say she’s an elitist snob). I hope she gets a real breakthtough real soon.

Like this song a lot! Yea her label is trying something different by releasing three of her songs before the album comes out.
Next week, she’s actually releasing a rendition of “I’ll be home for Christmas”

Stick a fork in her … she’s done. She’s just not edgy enough to make it big. McPhee brings nothing new or different to the table. She has way too much competition out there … Pink, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, etc. She’s not interesting enough to compete with them.

Megan=BitterTaylorHicksFan! Get over yourself! Katharine McPhee is one of the hottest and best vocalists that came out of Idol! And please, try Colbie Calliet and Sarah Barreiles as her new style and not those pop stars you mentioned.

Wrong Rosie. I don’t like Hicks at all. If Kat is one of the hottest and best vocalists as you say, why is her career stalled. She’s making a valiant effort, I’ll give her that, but she’s not gaining any traction at all, and it’s doubtful she will. How can she market herself to the public. She doesn’t even know who she is herself. E.g., change of hair color, style, etc. She’s trying to find an identity. Until she does, I don’t see much happening for her.

Megan. Just coz you came out of Idol doesnt mean you will be commercially successful. How many Idols are still with a record label? or with a sophomore album? or with a movie? or with a blogger like Rickey who supports her? Mcphee doesnt have a backstory of being a waitress or a farm girl, maybe that’s why? Who knows. But I’m glad you are concerned or disappointed of her “stalled” career, as many of her fans are.
