Anyways, For Your Entertainment by Adam Lambert is finally in the main iTunes Top 100 chart at #48. Let’s do this! Into the Top 10. It has to happen. Go go go!

I have been checking your site all morning, Rickey, to find out what was wrong with ITunes and why Adam was nowhere to be found. I can’t believe he isn’t in the top ten already with all the hype. I love FYE and I love it more every time I listen to it.

Charted yesterday at #44.

For Your Entertainment mislabled, placed under albums. Hopefully, its fixed for good, now –but not holding my breath. Itunes sux. Hopefully, Amazon numbers andsingles sold at AO will count in the final tally…

Sigh. The entire saga is explained on the other FYE thread but “somehow” Rickey forgot to mention any of that and put the word instead “finally”.

BTW it was missing again at about 1:00 and popped back on a little while ago in the 40’s (repeat for the 200th time)

Oddly it’s pretty much disappeared less from Pop charts and showing up off and on in the 20’s. Personally, I think RCA is pulling it back when it gets to the low 40’s. That’s when it always falls completely off the charts.

But yeah, buy it.

I called ITunes (Apple) yesterday afternoon (I live nearby) and explained that the single was showing up as the album by the same name, and that they were two separate entities: the single and the album of “For Your Entertainment.” The guy whom I spoke to at Apple looked it up, too, and agreed that it came up as an album, not a single. Then he said, “If that department isn’t aware of it by now, then they will be!” So, I hope this glitch gets taken care of. Thanks! Zlav

FYE is a great song, I agree. I like Allison Iraheta’s single better, the Spanish version. Her voice is untouched, she sings great. Hope she does well in charts too !

FYE is now at #24 on the ITunes pop chart. It looks like whatever the glitch was has been fixed.

Adam’s fans tend to buy full album; so I wouldn’t be surprised singles don’t sell as good.

Since the pre-sale soared on Amazon, that may mean that single downloads could be lower ranked for now. Most of the people I talk to want everything all-at-once on a CD and not the buffet pick-and-choose method from itunes.

2012 may also bring in new fans who see the video but have never seen him sing before. That was a smart choice to hook-up with a major film.

Amazon represents 10% of total CD sales and 8% of total digital sales. iTunes represents 69% of total digital sales and 25% total music sales.

For the past 4 hours at least, you get “The item you’ve reqested is not currently available in the US store” when attempting to purchase FYE.

LOL SRSLY, ya just couldn’t make this stuff up. FYE picked up about 9 adds today, though.

tennisguy what are you even talking about? The song was not even available for adds until last week. SRSLY I never saw so many uninformed people making such ridiculous assertions as here.

And iTunes is less than 30% of sales market last time I checked. eyeroll.

i have been checking adam’s album on the chart but somehow it failed to be on the top, just wondering. adam’s cd is not available in australia only on itunes.
