Michael Slezak of Entertainment Weekly posted the full credits for Allison Iraheta’s upcoming album “Just Like You” — and one of the songs “Holiday” is an original by Dilana of Rock Star: Supernova. Awesome.

Dilana incidentally is releasing an album on Nov. 17 called InsideOut which also includes “Holiday”. Okay 19 E, did you guys know?

I can’t wait to hear Allison’s take on ‘Holiday’. This song is apparently more than 3 years old and never got Dilana very far…this album is gonna be sick. Just bought Friday I’ll Be Over U on itunes yesterday. Sick Nasty…ROCK GODDESS…

Yeah when I first heard Friday I’ll Be Over U i wasn’t that into but i listened to it on repeat like my entire commute both ways and i’m addicted now can’t wait for her album

Dilana released Holiday as the B-side of Ring of Fire. Her album is two years late and she has hopped from one obscure label to another. Not many knew about the album release before Allison’s tracklist was released.

Dilana is a brilliant committed talent who unfortunately didn’t find her way by doing covers all the time but her nuclear charisma and devotion engages so many people. I am one of the Dilana fantards. And if you meet her she’s really nice. She wiped the floor with Lucas creatively, performance wise and vocally (even though sometimes her vocals were artistically bordering on uh, too unmelodic in parts). Poser Tommy Lee & band promised her album production. Yeah right. The girl is the only one who can drive the audience to a frenzy when sitting on a barstool with a leg injury and who friggin hopped around the stage on one leg after killing her leg jumping off the stage level in the previous week’s show. Rock on, girl you are the real deal.

Allison is a really talented kid, but she could try writing her own stuff… It´s kind of a “stub in the back” using other artist´s song without that person´s permission. Specially when that singer´s album hasn´t come out yet. Anyways… DILANA´S ALBUM WILL BE COMING OUT ON NOVEMBER 17TH, BUT YOU CAN PRE-ORDER IT NOW!

Dilana will get paid royalties for this song, Allison’s label had to pay for the rights to record it. She’s not stealing anything and she’s also not the only singer who sings other people’s music, that’s why there are people whose job is as song writers.

Ah Sabrina, you do know that artists do covers all the time. Well, Kris first single is a cover and he and Allison are not the first artists to do covers. If Dilana does not have a problem with it, the fans should not either.
