Now that this is the official first single, you Adam Lambert fans are going to bring For Your Entertainment to #1 on iTunes right? And then keep it in the iTunes Top 100 for more than one week right? Right?

Time for Miracles reached as high as #9 on the iTunes Top 100 main chart, then left the chart after a week. It debuted at #50 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week, and debuted at #21 on the Nielsen SoundScan Digital Downloads.

Wait, am I the only person left who doesn’t buy music digitally? Call me old-fashioned but I love the whole experience: the purchasing, enjoying the album cover (well, maybe not in this instance), reading the liner notes, the lyrics, etc. Why on earth would I buy TFM or FYE when they’re on the album? That doesn’t make sense.

No excuses, Rickey. I don’t have the money to plunk down on singles AND an album. It’s a matter of dollars and cents.

Anyway, @Rickey thanks for the link. FYI Itunes is screwed up and you cannot find it on Adam’s page. The only way (besides your link) is by searching by title. They just keep getting better and better, this label.

Thanks for the heads up, Rickey. I just purchased FYE. I don’t know why I had to wait for it or for TFM, but finally I was able to buy both at iTunes.

hur’cha, I don’t bootleg but I DO listen to them both whenever I want. I can go to Adam’s official site or to playlist.com.

I like to purchase my CDs. In fact, I bought Carrie’s yesterday without buying the singles beforehand. The girl’s awesome!

Begging won’t work. TFM was mediocre and FYE is overproduced silly indulgence. Adam will do very well skating on fans and tweens who like his twilight look and prob. will be #1 briefly, but won’t last, IMO, even with all the pimping.
But maybe the rest of the album will be better-where is the Rock God his fans were expecting? I guess kudos to him for doing what he wants and not what his fans expect.
Kris’s single is the only decent one so far (am not a Kris fan BTW).

I don’t intend to incite anything… but Live Like We’re Dying is doing far better on loltunes than Time For Miracles, even though it’s been out quite a bit longer. So I’m interested to see how this single does in comparison.

I keep looking it up, but it hasn’t charted yet; I don’t know how often they update that.

Hm, I already got the single from Adam’s website. Now that I think of it, may not be a good idea to sell it from the website. If he’s not charted in iTunes because all the diehard fans already got a copy earlier = lost publicity opportunity.

@Jean itunes seems to disagree with you. About Kris being the only “decent” one. Kris is at #166. FYE has been selling on the official website since Friday with 2000 people at a time on there, was just put on itunes this afternoon and “available” about an hour ago. and is already at #81 and TFM is at @ 77 and the MOVIE hasn’t been SEEN yet. Allie is at 42 and she’s only been there a couple days.

LAME EXCUSE FOR BASHING = FAIL.

Go find another singer to bash.

You guys have got to stop stating your opinions as facts.

Kris fans couldn’t make LLWD #1 on iTunes, the highest it got was #21-25 I believe. It didn’t make the top 10, Time For Miracles did, yeah it was for like one day (or two?), but it made the to 10 & debuted higher than LLWD, with no promotion.

You’re talking about the excuses Glamberts are making which I really have no clue what they are. Time For Miracles has gotten no airplay at all while LLWD has.

What about the excuses Kris fans are making? “It’s all the Glamberts fault that Kris isn’t getting good sales!” It’s been said on your site.

I hope when Kris’ next single comes out you say the same thing.

silverfangs is right. FYE may not chart well on itunes because all the diehards have already downloaded it from the official site. The single has no promotion behind it so unless the hardcore fans pony up another buck and a half I don’t think it’s going to go anywhere.

Itunes has been funny concerning FYE all day. Kinda bizarre.

The latest, FYE is still listed under albums (and has been has been all day), not under singles. It’s #29 on the pop album chart.

What can a body do? Stuff happens.

No visable problems for Kris and Allison, thank goodness. 2/3 Kradison without drama is better than nothing.

FYE is good. I appreciate it. Yeah, I would prefer the glam rocker i was really hoping for, but I mean, of course Adam would go for this approach. the whole synthetic suit is what his true target audience would want, and he fits into the Lady Gaga scene very well. and if he wants to hit it mainstream, which he will, thats the way to do it. My revival of the 80s will not be seen in him, and its a shame, but oh well. Luckly, I still have my Allison that will deliver what i am expecting and wanting. Her first single is a mainstream disaster… but i have faith that she’ll be like Pink, have her crappy song and the rest of the album be amazing. Here’s hoping that Kris will give us something good too in two weeks.

I have to laugh at all of the nay sayers that seem so happy FYE isn’t shooting up the charts. I personally don’t think it will do anything until promotion starts. Idol fans bought it from adamofficial several days ago since it was free if you ordered the $25 collector’s CD which will have a hardcover picture book with it.

When Adam performs on the AMA’s and then goes immediately that week to Ellen, Letterman, etc. you’ll see it start to climb. There hasn’t been ANY promotion as of yet except Adam himself through twitter. I’d much rather see it do a gradual slow sustaining climb up the charts instead of a quick jump up to the top 10 and then drop like a brick. Fans are complaining that 19E has dropped the ball, but I think they know exactly what they’re doing. He’ll get his biggest boost after the AMA’s.

Speaking of which….saw a clip of the producer of the AMA’s talking about Adam’s performance. He said he has seen some of the drawings of what Adam has in mind and it will be everything people are hoping for. He actually mentioned dancers and pyro. Holy moly.

Itunes is fixed it seem, at least the charts. He showed up out of the blue in 44 on all genre and 22 on pop.

there is still NO advertising for him there like say, Rhianna or even Kris. Kris is being promoted under the pass thing and new releases, FYI is not mentioned anywhere. I’m sure they think he doesn’t need it but it’s annoying.

Like Adam said nothing’s been an easy road in his past, and THIS is what makes him strong imo.

Interesting. Rickey’s Amazon widget to the right promotes Kris Allen and his Amazon ranking is 34 as of this morning. Adam’s ranking is 8. No Adam in the widget though. Meanwhile I heard Kris on pop radio twice last night within about 2 hours. That’s good for Kris but wtf with the Amazon widget. RICKEY DID YOU ENTER THE SEARCH CRITERIA WHEN YOU CODED YOUR WIDGET? Judging from the other selections, yes.

RCA knows what it’s doing with Adam. You have to be in top 40 Billboard to get good spin rotation on the radio. That will happen based on sales prolly next week. This unadvertised and promoted “release” is just a teaser. Adam has over 1200 5 star reviews on itunes regardless of the lack of promotion anywhere on the entire site and having the single competing against “album” category. They are not gonna screw up the most promising artist they’ve signed and invested in since perhaps forever.

Kris highest rank on itunes was #89 and now 34? Adam is at number 8 and TMF was as high as number 9, Adams whole CD has never been out of the top 10 in over 35 days. Kris is not even in the top 100 for weeks
