So You Think You Can Dance judge and Oscars producer Adam Shankman must be crying again now. Ben Stiller and Robert Downey Jr. turned down his offer to host the Oscars next year. Hugh Jackman also turned down hosting the show after hosting it last year.

First Billy Bell, now this. Poor Adam.

  If it’s getting this hard to find a host, why not a succession of hosts for each 1/2 hour, a different host(s). I doubt anyone is watching the show for anything other than to see who’s in the audience.
  They could also move it from the Shrine Auditorium, and do like the Golden Globes and have people sitting at round tables, drinking, laughing, having fun….instead of mugging for the camera.
