don’t like this at all. the only okayyyy song is for your entertainment. otherwise, all the songs are horrible. im am very upset with adam.

NOPE. It blows it out of the water and CRUSHES any naysayers and critic’s predictions. Why? Simple. Adam Lambert had a STRONG VISION and creative drive to bring that vision to life. The industry collaborators got him. The songs he co-wrote and that were given/written to/for him all share that vision and message. I know nobody listens to lyrics it seems, but give it a try. And listen to “I need a second to breathe” and stand there and accuse him of anything less than a significant accomplishment of epic MULTI GENRE WIN. Not to mention the as always flawless interpretation, emotional energy and vocals.

Listened a few more times. This is not
rock star which Adam seems to claim to want to be – its totally pop. Does anyone else agree?
I love a lot of it and its great fun but too much synth and noise and his vocals are under-utilized
but I can’t sit still listening to it and that
was another goal of his. So all in all – great job glittery alien.

Actually Adam NEVER said that the album will be rock!!!
That was mainly the media, he said several interviews that the sound will be mixed different kind of stuff Lots of dancing …:) Which i love

I have listen to these snippets like 50 times already and i like VERY much, so can wait to hear the hole songs..

Like i thought it would be, Adam always suprise us.
SO BIG THANKS TO ADAM, BECAUSE I WILL DEFINETELY BUY THIS ALMBUM.

Those bits of “Soaked” I really love! I heard the version of Muse and it’s a pretty good song, with Adam’s vocals, I think it would be awesome!. I also like the bits of “If I Had You”, “Fever” and “Sure Fire Winners”, Not Sure about “Strut” though. I think the album will be solid! Can’t wait!

Fever is just incredible. That sounds like a major hit. It’s tough to judge by 30 seconds of a song but I’m really liking everything except If I Had You. I gotta say this album sounds like it’s going to be very very good.

This album is awesome. Almost as awesome as the man himself. Can;t wait for the grammys and AMAs. Love your creativity Adam!!!!This sound is GREAT! Sorry Kris, but we knew who was going to steal the limelight

He’s said repeatedly that he’s always wanted to be a ‘rock star’ – said it on Oprah interview too and called himself a rock star. Maybe in light of his amazing talent we need to re-define rock star? I still, at this point, maintain he will be on the pop charts – not the rock charts.

It’s definately worth the long, excruciating wait that we’ve all endured. I’m so glad that Adam’s stamp is on it and not 19E’s. These songs are so “him” based on what we’ve seen of him pre-Idol and what he’s been telling us he wanted to do. I’m glad 19E obviously gave him some of the creative control.

I’ve been saying all along that Adam’s intelligence was going to pay off for him. He had such a clear vision of were he wanted to go with this album, and it’s obvious the guy knows how to communicate his visions effectively. I agree totally with a poster from above…take the time when the full lyrics come out to read them. From what I’ve seen so far, Adam took these lyrics very seriously and it’s obvious he isn’t singing words just to sing…they’re totally appropriate to him and his life. Either his songwriters just totally “got” him or once again he was able to effective communicate what he wanted.

He was genius to put something on this album for most people. You’ll never please everyone, but from the 30 second snippets, he’s got pop, electro, dance, ballad, and soft rock. Not many artists can pull off a variety like that.

Can we just fast forward to November 23rd please?

No Jude he says Rock Star usually even with air quotes as an entertainment life style. He has always cited POP and even of late described the album as ALL GENRE with a POP GLOSS over the whole thing. He’s debated several times that he disagrees with the industry’s insistance to force an artist to select a genre. His inspirations were POP, Queen was POP until they changed the “genres” and ended up being called Rock, a quote from Brian or someone. T Rex is all over Fever. He cites Madonna and MJ as huge influences. They are POP. It’s hard to see the level of rock in these snippets but I’m quite sure he succeeded it’s his OWN GENRE. And now I’m going to plan my GRAMMY garb!

The snippets alone have convinced me this album has exceeded the hype. I can honestly say, there isn’t a song I don’t like. Other than the Beatles and MJ, I have never liked all tracks on an album. Can’t wait to hear entire tracks. Epic album for epic performer. Congratulations Mr. Lambert!!!!!!

^^ T Rex is all over Stut too. Damn, Kara knew exactly what she was talking about when she said fuse his love of classic rock with modern pop and his own interpretation “Nobody else is doing that “. Hereby removing all anger I had for her ambiguous critique of ROF. Props, Adam and Kara for that co-write. This album = epic.

The mix is typical for albums these days, about half seem filler to me. A song or two have a very 80’s MJ feel to the beats.

First track reminds me of Queen. I’m disappointed in the Pink track (#3) which is probably better suited to her voice. Track 5 is very pretty, my favorite from the clips. Track 7 is hard to listen to; I don’t care for Adam singing that high. The Gaga track, 10, sounds good.

Overall I think his fans will be satisfied but this doesn’t appeal to me as a potential purchase.

I have no pulse of the market so I wouldn’t hazard a guess whether it’ll be a mammoth hit album or not.

I wanted to listen before I read the comments and I’ve gotta say that Adam was correct in that there is something for everyone here. I’m actually a bit surprised that there seem to be only two club songs here. The ones that seem interesting to me are Kusic Again, Strut, Fever and especially Soaked. Overall, the sounds seem quite diverse to me and I definitely hear a strong rock influence (Aftermath) and an almost Queen influence in some of these (Music Again). I’m looking forward to this!

I just finished listening to the snippets of Adam’s album and I am loving every song. He has definitely lived up to the hype. I can hardly wait for his CD. I am so excited and so happy for him. This album will be a MEGA HIT!!! GO ADAM. BTW Adam told us what he was going to do to us musically when he sang FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT. He is in our hearts forever and he has blown us away.

I love them all! Adam sounds absolutely fantastic on Soaked. I got goosebumps just from the snippet. I can’t wait to hear the full tracks. It’s quite obvious that Adam was given free rein to make the album he wanted. This is no cookie-cutter Idol album. Adam is an amazing talent. Well done Adam, mission accomplished!

Wait till you hear the whole thing. The least may become your most fav or vise versa.

I can tell I won’t love every song, but there is certainly something for most everyone here I believe. I will most certainly like Music Again, Strut, and my fave will be Soaked. I do like FYE already. I need to hear more to know if I will really like other songs. I seldom like more than 4 or 5 songs off an album anyway, so I am very optimistic!

i burst in laughter from the 1st screach in 1st song. I laughed at a couple other songs aswell. I thought FYE was bad, it is by far best song on album. This might be the worse thing ive ever heard. The fact that this passes as music shows a sign of how far the music world has fallen.

How anyone that liked Adam for his music, could like this is beyond me. Theres 2 songs top that if played for you Adam fans, youd even know it was him singing. THATS A FACT.

Only the delusional pinned Adam as a rock star, i dont believe he ever did.

Im not into the whole dance club scene so obviously this isnt exactly up my alley, but ive never laughed at multiple songs b4.

Kris Allens album seems like a total failure, this im sure will do decent but to me is a joke. havent listened to allys yet. i can only hope they give gokey atleast 1 decent song.

I wasnt a cook fan, but his album simply dominates this years by far. Archies album was such a dissapoint for me.

i love every song on this cd. adam has surely given something for everyone. my fav so far is “Sure Fire Winners” the beat is siiiiccccckkkk!!!! Fever is next, Soaked, all of them. Adam will be iconic.

it’s totally different with my expectation.first,I expect a singer around 28yrs old.this sound as 18 yrs.too young and too funky for my taste.second.I expect edgy and far away from today’s mainsteam radio voice.this one more mainsteam than any others.amazing for a open gay singer express himself in this way.third,I expect crsytal pure voice of adam.this one is too much auto tune and background noise.overall.I agree this song maybe good song and will be hits.but definitely not my expectation of adam lambert when I saw him on AI.miss edgy feeling of “ring of fire”.miss purify classy feeling of “track of my tears”.miss power exploding feeling of “whole lot love”.miss haunting low falsetto feeling of ” mad world”.whole album left is “play the funky music” feeling.but still think will be suit mainstream market.good luck adam.

Music Again, A Loaded Smile, Sleepwalker, and Broken Open sound promising. I like that sonic landscape with his voice.

[For those who think Adam's fusion of classic rock with modern dance music is cutting edge and "new", check out Family Force 5 (silly name, but hooky music). tracks: Drama Queen, Put Ur Hands Up, Love Addict, Earthquake, Supersonic]

(LMAO) I get it my kid has a hardcore label. That said Drama Queen is awesome and I see the fusion youre talking about. For me though, it’s more hard core metal-ish than rock maybe it’s just that one song. THANKS though, cool. I’m gonna go listen to more!

flove the snippets except for a few songs that require full-listening before final judgement. I hope in the deluxe edition, they’d include a reworked “crawl thru fire” and “kiss and tell”. i was kinda hoping for more adam-written tracks but im not complaining.

as much as i love adam, i don’t like most of what i have heard.. mainly because you can find artists that can sing songs like this too.. it doesn’t have much originality… sadly, i wished he would’ve taken a different genre, but i guess he wants to be the man version of Katy Perry and Britney.

i expected more.. but that doesn’t change the fact that he has mad vocals.. just disappointed
