Really? You guys don’t like Kris Allen’s songs that much? 53% of the respondents said that they didn’t like any of the songs on Kris’s album that he previewed at the Miami Dolphins pre-game last week.

The most popular however was Live Like We’re Dying. Hopefully things will sound better when the full album drops on Nov. 17. To #1 Kris!

The “win” of “I don’t like any” is clearly brought to you by a certain former contestant’s fanatics.

They’ll deny it, of course, but one can see the infestation of any Idol site, and comment on any topic with postings about their guy no matter how irrelevant to the subject.

Somehow haven’t been able to spawn big sales of their guy’s first release even with a film tie-in, Oprah appearance and big video premier ahead of a $100m earning MJ concert documentary.

I’m glad to see “Can’t Stay Away” make second.

It’s just because he won. I don’t know why people aren’t over it yet. When someone I hate wins I’ll be pissed and jealous for like a month then I’ll move on with my life.
Live Like We’re Dying is a good song. I don’t know about the other songs, but live like we’re dying is good.
Also if you don’t like a song it doesn’t make it bad. I absolutely hate all the songs my friends listen to but I admit its way better than my music lol.

You know, Rickey, ever since you turned all Kris Allen fans against you, I’ve noticed your website is overrun with Adam fans; thus the FYE single supposedly being voted as the best in idol history. haha…that’s honestly a joke. I liked several songs Adam did on the show, but I don’t get that single. Don’t like it at all.

@Dee: I noticed that a little, but I think the answer is more: they are the only fans that actually care about these polls right now.

As I’ve said many times before – the Adam Lambert or American Idol Season 8 posts are no longer the most popular posts on the blog. So the idea that Adam fans are the only people visiting the blog is wrong.

Over the past 2 weeks, the most popular posts have been: Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance.

This poll has biased results. On MJ’s blogs many non Kris fans even loved some of the songs. I thought a couple of them were good and was not a big fan of his on AI. Alot of people were impressed with his snippets of other songs too. Acutally his feedback for his songs were more positive than Adam’s.

Nice try but Rickey managed to run off Adam’s fans even before he ran off the Kris crowd. Need I remind anyone of cellcast-gate? There have been many such Rickey vs. Glambert debacles. It was so bad that when Rickey reported positive stories about Adam’s album everyone thought he was being sarcastic.

My vote on Kris’ album went to Written All Over My Face. Not too crazy about the others. This week I’m stuck between Crush and For Your Entertainment. Since I’m in my 20s now I think I’ll go with FYE.

Why is it when anything negative is said or done towards Kris Allen, the Adam Lambert fans get blamed? I agree with Samantha that most of the Adam fans do not come to this website anymore and don’t want to give Rickey the hits anymore, so I think you are mistaken. I actually voted for LLWD. I love how catchy and happy the song is. I’m wondering who needs to be blamed for the lack of press and promotion for Kris. I’m pretty sure you can’t blame Lambert fans, even though I’m sure you will try too. I don’t hear anymore whining about Adam not winning because he didn’t need the win to make it. I think that is just an excuse Kris fans keep using to justify anything negative. It’s getting old people. Kris will do just fine and so will the rest of them with recording contracts. These polls actually really mean nothing in the scheme of things.

Please stop fighting already. Tomorrow I will go on Carrie Underwood fangirl mode, and then in 2 weeks Kris Allen. And then on the week Adam’s CD is released I will go on a Jay Sean, Susan Boyle, Adam Lambert super-fan mode. And then it will be over. You guys can go fight somewhere else.

I love “when we come undone” and practically all the others from the snippets I have heard.And yes, if you are having a poll on someones music why not just ask which song they like the most, why have the negative one it invites fan wars, I fully agree with you Stacy.

I agree, why put the “i dont like any” option?. Most of the people who voted for that probably didn’t even listen to all of the songs. You should just put the choices, and if someone didn’t like any then they won’t vote in the poll. Putting up that choice up only gives haters a chance to gang up against a contestant, and it’s pretty obvious Kris receives a lot of that since he won and some people still haven’t gotten over it.

Your poll daddy for Kris’ songs was very biased. Where was the choice that said ‘liked them all’. Instead, it was a negative choice for all the songs. The totals of all chosen, total about the same as the one for ‘did not like any.’ There was not really a choice here. Your poll made it look as if one song was better than the others. When voting for only 1 song, sure the numbers looked weaker. You need to stay away from trying to help Kris, because at every turn, all you do is hinder. I noticed he is no longer following you. With friends like you who needs enemies. I also noticed your poll for Adam was a straight ‘yeah’ or ‘nea’. You are not a kind person. You want to be where the action is so badly, you don’t care who you step on to get there. Redeem yourself. List each song separately with a ‘yeah’ or ‘nea’, then give us the results. Oh Yeah, ‘I liked them all.’

@druzilla what are you talking about even ‘with” a movie tie in? It’s not a movie tie in it’s the SOUNDTRACK. To a movie that hasn’t even been released yet. Reality much? Let’s see where his REAL 1st release goes, which is not even on iTunes yet and trending for over 24 hours straight on Twitter. Dont make excuses. Where are Kris fans? They should be overwhelming Adam fans if YOUR theory is correct. Maybe Rickey needed to do the poll with At&T cell phones and voting instructions and advertise in Arkansas about the poll and the results woulda been more to your liking.

And druzilla dear, Adam shot to number one on Amazon as soon as his album was put there, beating Barbara and the Beatles, dropped to 4th and within hours of Oprah shot back up to number ONE, passing MICHAEL JACKSON. AND IT’S ONLY A PRE ORDER, NOT EVEN RELEASED, AGAIN.

Most Adam fans don’t even come on here anymore! I’m seriously one of the few that still do (I love Kris too)

So to put the blame on them is ridiculous.

In hindsight, 20/20, these polls are stupid, because everyone, Kris and Adam fans alike, are voting as many times as possible for either good or bad. That could not possibly give us an accurate accounting of what folks really think. The same people get on these sites to follow their favorites. I know many folks who have no idea who either of these 2 people are, and if they do, that they do not know that they have songs out yet. Patience and time will give the real totals. Meanwhile, support your favorite and shut the heck about the other.
