Update: I’ve added the screencap for those an*l about facts. Yes, the writer is listed as Matthew James Bellamy, but the Warner pop-up shows the band Muse and Adam Lambert tweeted that the song was written by Muse.

I hate the fact that his album has all of this hype around it that is making it near impossible to live up to, but come on….how can you not feel like this is going to be huge? The list of songwriters who have stepped in to be a part of this album is unbelievable. At times, Adam must be shaking his head and asking himself…WTF…is all of this really happening? Practically every artist he named off in his early Idol career as HIS idol has been involved in this album. He definately has the industry greats behind him….I hope we’ll all be blown away.

well, now that I’ve heard this sang by Matthew Bellamy, Adam can never top it(no one is better than Matt, yes I’m a big fan of Muse), but a very good song though

Muse is a great band but Adam is a much better singer then Matthew Bellamy, he will sing this unbelievably, this singer sounds very Coldplay

Wow!! I love Muse and I love Adam. I can’t wait to hear this on Adam’s CD. Muse gave it to Adam and did not intend it to be their song. Too bad about the leak, that totally sucks.

Okay, whoever said Adam sings better than Matt Bellamy you need to get checked out, because as good of a singer as Adam is, Bellamy is ridiculously better than Adam. Even Adam said he is an amazing singer. He’s also a classically trained pianist, one of the top guitarists in the world (according to Rolling Stone) and writes symphonies and music so loud it takes paint off walls when played. Can you tell I’m a Muse fan? Hey, don’t get me wrong, I think Adam will KILL on this song. It’s right in his range, and he has the emotional interpretation to pull it off. Can’t wait to hear his version.

Adam and Matt Bellamy have similar range. I love Muse, but I think that Adam can find the melody and dramatic arch of a song that is sometimes lost by Muse. I have listened to a lot of Muse because my son is so into them….but unless the song is melodic, it all sounds like noise to me. Songs like Unintended are so beautiful because MB sings it with so much conviction. And his voice is other worldly. I think that is was Adam will do with Soaked. I am looking forward to this one!
Its a shame muse are giving it away, i feel they could have developed it into something a bit more spectacular than any reality star, no offence.
Technically Adam’s voice is definately better than Matt Bellamy’s. Adam has a clearer pitch, better articulation, and a broader range (4 octaves). Matt has a unique and interesting voice as well, but technically Adam would be tough to beat.
Matthew Bellamy is a better singer. He puts more emotion into his songs.
haha, this track sounds very “Muse-ish”. I think it’s very well done, and it would have fitted well in The Resistance. I just can’t imagine someone else singing this.. Matt has his very one sound. Very curious though…..

I heard a snippet of Adam singing this, and it was so beautiful. I think it is going to be one of my favorite songs on this album. Muse gave Adam this song because they knew he would do an exquisite job with it, and he has. They have created something very beautiful together. I can see that I will be driving alone in my car at night listening to this song.
