For the record, the first tap dancer on this show was Sandra Colton from Season One. So I’m against this “we are the first tap dancers” on this show bit. Seriously. However, we like Peter.

Thank you! It seems like they are just casting off dancers from previous seasons who didn’t have the big personalities or weren’t there long enough to show more of themselves. I remember Sandra well. She did a tap to Hollaback Girl. I had hoped she’d stay around longer, but she was cut quickly.

I just do not enjoy tap dancing at all. I mean I know it takes a ton of skill and talent, but I just can’t get in to it. I really hope they all do well though.

I love tap dancing, but this choreography was a let-down. Very boring and it shouldn’t have been. Tap dancing can be amazing and this just wasn’t.

How far did he other tapper make it? Did she actually make the Top 20 or was she in the Top 24 or something?

actually, in season one they had a top 16 rather than 20 so maybe that’s why? because it’s not technically top 20? That’s low though still. I wonder how Sandra feels about it…

They choreography was horrible as was the costuming for Bianca, sagging crotch on lycra pants is not attractive.

They should have hired Ryan Kasparzak as the choreographer.

Thank you for clearing this up, I was trying to research it myself but I know my memory was not wrong and I have watched this show every season. They really need to do a better job, everytime they say first tap dancers I get mad cause I know there was someone before them !!

This was so boring, the music was bad. Plus the tapping noise does not sound good at all on this stage for some reason! I like Peter though.
