This was more scandalous than I realized. Why am I not covering this? LOL
Apparently this has a bit of Fatal Attraction built into it (though not ending in a murder-suicide like Steve McNair a few months ago). Steve Phillips, an ESPN analyst and former GM of the New York Mets, had an affair with Brooke Hundley, a 22-year-old ESPN production assistant, who also harassed his family.
Hundley used Craigslist to hire someone to call Steve’s wife and tell her that he was having an affair! She even offers some motivation for the caller:
“The big thing on this is to act like you’re having a hard time telling her this and you feel just absolutely awful I really need her to see that this isn’t some prank, but an actual woman who’s seen it all. In all honestly he’s a disgusting bastard who’s already come clean about a series of affairs he had and she took him back once, I just need her to finally see he hasn’t changed, he’s just gotten better at cheating.”
She trespassed at Phillips’ Conncticut home and also cyberstalked his 16-year-old son.
This Hundley girl reminds me of sooooooo many people. Hahaha.

LOL! My thoughts exactly. My first question was, “What was this guy thinking??!!” BTW – Have you seen a picture of his wife? She’s very attractive. Go figure…
At this point, I’d say this guy and his family are lucky someone was not hurt or killed.
