Loved this recent gossip piece from the South African website IOL.

It says that Adam Lambert has hired a private investigator to find a stalker who has hacked into his e-mail and voice mail. His name? Jose. And he works with a female accomplice who passes herself off as Adam’s personal assistant.

However, I found this bit about an excited fan squeezing Adam’s hand backstage during the Idol tour to be hilarious:

Lambert exploded in a full diva meltdown and shrieked: “What the %%$#@&… my nails are still wet!”

He then waved his newly smudged, black-lacquered nails for all to see, adding, in a shriek: “Look what you have done! Now I have to do them all over again.”

The poor stagehand apologised profusely, we hear, as Lambert stormed back to his dressing-room.

Hahaha.

Adam Lambert’s new album will be released on Nov. 23, his latest single from the soundtrack 2012 has leaked on YouTube and his racy pictures from Details Magazine have also hit the Web.

Rickey, why post a “story” that is months old and untrue? If, as you say, it is “a recent gossip piece from the South African website IOL”, then they are months behind in reporting “news”. Not only that, it was a completely fabricated story. In fact, Adam had a good laugh over it. What are you trying to dredge up? It must be a slow news day. You must be really digging to try to find something to make Adam look bad. Shame on you!

Rickey, this is from JUNE and both Adam and Kris have debunked the story several times. Seriously, there’s videos of Adam talking about this. Look, I get you hate Adam, but you don’t need to constantly drag his name through the mud all the time to prop Kris up. Both Adam and Kris were right to block you on Twitter.

Perhaps the “collective IQ of posters on this site” is directly correlated to the quality of the threads posted. I wonder if some less provocative, salacious or quasi-controversial trash was posted if you would see a rise in the median IQ, perhaps one or two standard deviations? Something to ponder, Einstein.

I take responsibility for sending Rickey this article. The main crux of the story was about the stalker which was something I hadn’t heard before.

The IOL site isn’t just some gossip blog but the official news site of the South African newspapers, and it’s usually a reliable source. They cite The National Enquirer as the source of the stalker story, and state that The Enquirer was also the original source of the nail polish rumors.

Does anyone have any credible information that proves or disproves the story about the stalker and the hacking of Adam’s accounts?

I love Adam as much as the next person BUT the nails have got to go. With his hands, it just makes him look like an aging movie star or something – just something really off-putting
about it on him and he does not need it! Clean it up Adam – you are still fabulous without the

With websites and TV magazine shows scooping all the show biz gossip stories, even the most respected newspapers have resorted to “according to TMZ, Perez, ET, etc.” in their reports. This story was new to me and evidently new to Rickey and the reporter for the IOL site.

Now, if you have any real proof that these stories are or are not true, let’s see it.

Just how does a story about Adam having a stalker who hacked into his internet accounts detract from his recent positive press? If anything, it would make people sympathetic towards him.

The story hasn’t been all over the internet for months. It only came out in the Sept. 7 issue of The National Enquirer. This is a different stalker than the one reported in July. The July stalker was a woman who was suspected of being armed and was hanging around the buses after the concert.

The way you can prove or disprove the story is simply by pointing us to an interview with Adam or a reputable news site that addresses the issue. How can that be so difficult?
