Britney Spears becomes the first artist in over three years to debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with her latest single 3. Congrats!

The last single to debut at #1? “Do I Make You Proud” by American Idol winner Taylor Hicks! Other #1 debuts include: “Inside Your Heaven” by Carrie Underwood, “I Believe” by Fantasia Barrino and “This is The Night” by Clay Aiken. Go Idol!

It’s a single from her upcoming “Greatest Hits” album. It’s catchy, but the lyrics leave a lot to be desired (like all music nowadays).

I am, however, happy to see her become popular again. It makes me feel like it’s 2000/1 again. Good times.

I agree with Matt, the song is catchy but empty. Circus is a way better song. Guess it just reflects how weak the singles are these days. I mean it replaced Down, a song that doesn’t go higher than #20 without Lil Wayne’s contribution.
