She used to be a natural beauty, but now, she looks like a cross between a ghost and the Bride of Frankenstein! Gawd, that’s ugly!

@Justin: I can’t get over the hair! Can’t you see the roots in the close ups??? Of course I’ll notice it. I’m not blind. It’s a video, not just a song. It’s for us to see. But I still love Kat.

She will have to get her hair bleached every 2 weeks as dark as it is naturally. Been there. She should have just gotten highlights….if she keeps up with the extreme bleaching she’ll damage the roots and regrowth. Her hair “was” gorgeous and the white blonde color ages her about 10 yrs.

The video is good but like almost all idol contestants….its average with more of the same old same old blah blah blah singing.

There’s a reason God made her a brunette, cause blond hair looks terrible on her! And why does her voice and this song sound country-ish? lol. It sounds nice though, don’t get me wrong.

I love the video! This video is Kat for the entire 3 minutes—Love it!!! She is a wonderful singer!!

No other Idol would cut and color her hair/ make a dramatic change just to make a point for the meaning of the song and video other than McPhee (and pull it off exteremely well)! Oh McPhee, you’re so pretty! Such an artist! Will Carrie cut her hair and color it brown? Or Kelly C slim down? Or Kellie P smart up? Ha! ha! McPhee is FIERCE!!!!

Seems like Kat got a Sarah Chalke makeover from Scrubs. Same blonde choppy layers and grungy eyeliner.

I think she’d get more attention if she went for a buzz cut. Her song is okay, but I was distracted by her hair. lol.

Why would this woman DO this? Why would someone WANT to look like this– esp someone who looked like McPhee?

A nightmare. I always used to be envious of her looks. Now…. hmmm… not at all. Suddenly I don’t look so bad.

Didn’t Gwen Stefani own this look in the 90s? I hope this color washes out easily for McPhee. It doesn’t look right on her at all and it changes her whole appeal.

I am guessing another image change before her album comes out next year. Hope she does more TV and Film after promoting her new album. I liked her CSi appearance and her role in House Bunny. Bad witch!

I’m buying her album when it comes out. Her first album was underrated. It was better than most idol albums. And she deserves to be a bigger seller than Kellie Pickler.

I personally do not care for this look or the song. I recently heard Kat sing with Andrea Bocelli and it was beyond belief-so wonderful. She had her long brown hair and she sang at David Foster’s celebration. She also looks like she is not eating anything-a size 0. Kat needs, as some people like to say, to eat a cheeseburger! Whoever her manager is seems to not be leading her in the right direction musically. She is a fabulous ballad singer(remember Over the Rainbow) and should be doing just that. I will always think she is the most beautiful woman ever to compete on Idol but she seems like she is following poor health habits.

@Justin: It’s been McTatas forever as far as I can remember. It all began with the wardrobe malfunction…

It’s also the same thing with “Carrie, you’re so pretty!” But Carrie fans do not doubt that I love her.
