Is Paris Bennett working with Joe Jackson?

Paris Bennett recently posted that she was “in the studio with Joe Jackson” on her Facebook page. Some are speculating that this is Joe Jackson the father of Michael Jackson. Is this for real?

Paris has released two albums since her stint on American Idol Season 5: “Princess P” and “A Royal Christmas”. Could she be Joe Jackson’s next big thang?

Even if commercial success has eluded her, Paris Bennett arguably still has the greatest audition of all time on the show. Recently, she has been spending time taking care of her baby Egypt.

Will keep you guys posted on what we get!

Luikero: You’ve got to be kidding? Joe Jackson hasn’t done squat since the Jackson 5 broke up. He hasn’t produced not one hit act. He signs “women” singers, but no one writes for him. Who’s going to write for Paris?
I think she’s scraped the bottom. Out of desperation. But what I don’t understand is 1) she had a chance to go to college and turned away from that; by this time, she would be a doctor and earning more money than she is now; and 2) her grandmother is a famous singer, doesn’t grandma have connections?

Marie, I wasn’t kidding, but I also did not assume Joe would produce a record with her.

I guess you have noticed the enormous buzz around Michael Jackson’s life including
Jackson 5. Joe Jackson is there in the middle.

Most probably there are cover albums and movies about Michael and his family already in the making, and Paris could for example get a role as young Janet. Still think it’s not a good idea?

I really do not think Paris is desperate. She’s e.g. worked for Capitol Records on the Dean Martin album (including among others Martina McBride, Joss Stone & Robbie Williams), and recently she was in studio with Mint Condition (6 top 20 R&B almbums), so she has name even though her own debut album was not good at all.

I’m waiting patiently for her to find her place in the industry. Hard to say why her grandmom’s connections haven’t worked, maybe Paris doesn’t want to utilize them.
