David Archuleta’s Christmas CD is now available for Pre-Order on Amazon.com.

The title is Christmas From The Heart and it will be released on Oct. 13, 2009.

I’m a little worried that this will not have the sales numbers of David’s debut album because it is a holiday album. This is targeted for the fans (and I guess those peeps who need to upgrade their Christmas CD music collection). Was David’s young audience clamoring for a holiday CD? Since these are standards, I guess it was easy to produce.

This CD contains I’ll Be Home for Christmas featuring Charice Pempengco.

What concerns me is the 99 cent cover that looks like someone took a polaroid of David with a bright flash (notice his eyes) then pasted it on some awful wrapping paper background.

I pre-ordered David’s Christmas album a month ago August 15th. As for that cover art….not what I was expecting at all. I had it in my mind that it would be a cover depicting David having some Christmas fun with friends….something a tad more creative.

These Christmas cd’s have historically had a limited audience and subsequently limited sales. David has a fresh, pure voice that is perfect for this type of song so i think it will do well. I can’t wait to hear his studio recording of “Oh, holy night”, it is sure to be incredible. And the duet with Charice only adds to the anticipation. I hope it does well, the picture of David looks great but the surrounding graphics are kinda amaturish. It should keep me goin til he records his second regular cd. Go David!

I hate it when artists I like do christmas albums
I wish he would just do a normal one. I don’t need to hear more christmas covers. And besides those songs are only relevant for 1 day a year, while any other song can apply to any day.

I don’t mind the cover at all. It’s got David on it and he looks really good I have to say. And he is the biggest selling point. It’s what’s on the inside that counts, and I have no doubt that David’s pure voice will top the charts around the holiday season. I can’t wait.

If the songs are only relevant for one day, why do they play them from October to January. Somebody better alert the retail stores and tell them to cut it out!

David’s green eyes are mesmerizing in this pic. I love it!

His voice is truly angelic and I will be buying multitudes of his Christmas CD as presents for me, my family and friends!

For the first time in my entire life, I will be listening to Christmas music everyday from October 13th till who-knows-when after Christmas! XENO-SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

If he appears on Oprah, he might sell millions like what happened to Josh Groban’s Noel Christmas album years ago. It sold like 4 million and was on top of the billboard hot 100 for many weeks after it’s moderate debut.

Hey to MomWithODD it has been a long time. Hope you and your family is doing ok. I agree with what you said in your posts #15 and #16 completely 100 percent. I think the album cover is so darling it fits David well and there is no doubt that it will sell millions. His green eyes will not only enhance the cover but another good thing is it will match the colors of the Christmas Holiday season. We just ordered copies of his Christmas cd. Christmas From The Heart is wonderfully titled and what we need in this coming holiday season especially with everything that has been happening in the economy and etc. I know by listening to his cd it will bring harmony and joy to my ears. It will also add peace to the world. Alot of people could stand to learn some of David’s moral values to help them be a better person. We met David and talked with him he is a humble person with a down to earth personality. All of David’s millions of fans can’t wait for his Christmas cd!!!!!!!!!!!!!

David’s duet with Charice is actually “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”. Richard has publicly stated that the Amazon tracklist still has minor errors to it. Charice herself tweeted that she didn’t understand the list because she recorded HYAMLC. The Malaysian CD cover lists HYAMLC as the duet too.

I’m not crazy about the fonts, but I love this cover. It totally fits David and is a very balanced looking cover. There is green in his eyes, title, and 3 snowflakes. This is red in his lips, name, scarf, and 1 snowflake. The bottom right corner is very dark, while the upper left is very bright. The one thing I have issues with is that they airbrushed out his moles. What’s up with that?

Well some of the juvenile nasty remarks here, are really stupid. Nobody purchases Xmas albums for the cover morons. It is the artist that makes the album. Who cares about the cover, I can’t wait to hear David’s voice. But again you would need to be Christian to appreciate this, otherwise go buy some other music you would prefer. And as far as his eyes, they are beautiful. At least we won’t hear him “SHOUTING” his songs like some other artists. Have you seen the DC and Daughtry covers? Really now. Have you seen Josh Groban’s bestselling Xmas album that hit the No. 1 spot for a long time? It was just his face, nothing special. What do you expect from a Xmas album? Bells and Santa to come out with you? GEEEEEEEEEEEZ and don’t be too jealous at least he is invited to sing at the US Open and the Alma Awards and has an additional Xmas album, give it up already with the nasty remarks. Perhaps some of you should go on some other site and be nasty. No need for stupid remarks.
