Blake Lewis to Headline Atlanta Gay Pride on Nov. 1

The Atlanta Pride Committee is excited to announce beatboxing “American Idol” alum Blake Lewis as the headliner in our finalized entertainment lineup for year’s Oct. 31-Nov. 1 festival. Lewis, who was voted as runner-up to Jordin Sparks in Season 6, takes Pride’s Coca Cola stage by storm on Sunday, Nov. 1.

“We think Blake’s diverse fan base will draw some new people to the park on Sunday,” says J. Sheffield, Atlanta Pride event manager. “In addition to Blake, our Entertainment Committee, in close collaboration with Q&A Entertainment, reviewed hundreds of applicants to select a lineup that we’re really proud of.”

    DonMI, it means he’s promoting his upcoming album which is on a club/dance-oriented label which is popular with a segment of the out gay population.
