David Archuleta’s Father cited in Prostitution Sting – WTF

Oh my heck! David Archuleta’s father Jeff Archuleta pleaded no contest to solicitation charges on January 14, 2009 during a prostitution sting in the Queens of Reiki massage parlor in Midvale, Utah.

Utah’s ABC 4 spoke with Jeff Archuleta’s attorney Eric Bauer Wednesday night, and he confirmed that Archuleta had been a customer at the massage parlor when police raided it. Bauer also said Archuleta went to the massage parlor for legitimate therapy on his back. He confirmed that Archuleta pleaded No Contest to the solicitation charge and paid a fine of $528. He added that even though Archuleta pleaded No Contest that his client did not participate in any sexual activity.

Bauer also said he advised Archuleta to plead No Contest in hopes of avoiding publicity for his son David.

This has got to be the WORST LAWYER ADVICE ever. Well it’s public now. I can’t believe this! I’m so shocked!

Honestly, I always thought Mr. Archuleta was kinda “shifty.” David needs to get away from his dad ASAP before he ruins his career. David is an adult now, right? (18 years?)

Here we go with judging Jeff Archuleta again. Even criminals have the right to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Sounds like TMZ is at it again. So let’s stop with this non-sense already. We can all start rumours about anything and anybody and because it happened to be Jeff Archuleta it can get out of hand. Let’s not feed into this non-sense.
