My Super Ex-Girlfriend

As Jimi mentioned tonight over dinner, just lower your expectations and My Super Ex-Girlfriend was actually entertaining.

The film obviously went through some painful rewrites while they were shooting since there were details that were introduced that were left completely hanging. Also, there was an impossible underground subway sequence, and I noticed only because I am kinda familiar with the subway and the N-R-W does not exit on Franklin Ave. It was a bit jarring. Well, there was also a shark which crawled across the living room, so what am I complaining about? LOL. The shark-sequence was done by someone I met recently who made a short animated film called Bicycle Messengers. Good job!

Verdict: Another brainless summer movie good for a few laughs
