Look… No one can deny – this was FAR BETTER than Gokey and Kris, but that doesn’t even matter. We aren’t voting for the duets, so to speak! That being said… The only TWO performances tonight that were ANY GOOD were Adam’s solo and this duet. Everything else SUCKED!

I think they are both super-talented singers, but that was just…okay. Too many pitchy moments to be considered great, plus that song just doesn’t have enough pulse to it. They needed something with less space between phrases and more harmony fireworks!

Knockout Rockin duet with the 2 stars of tonight!!!:D

Adam & Allison meshed in their performance like we knew they could. Thoroughly entertaining, stage-commanding Allison held her own against my favorite, Adam. And, good thing to because the judges had it out for her. By now, we know they that AI wants a boy/boy finale, preferably consisting of Adam & Danny.

On the other hand, Adam’s “shine” lent a much-needed glow to the oft-unappreciated teen (as far as the majority of the judges are concerned) permitting Allison to literally blossom before our eyes this evening & KILL IT!!

What a stunning performance by the both of ‘em!:)

Without a doubt, the better duet. But I still didn’t like it. I agree with what someone said before, it was like somebody swapped the genders with Allison singing the male part and Adam singing the female. The song stopped a bit too much, and neither of them were as loud as you’d expect them to be on their night to shine.

But…don’t get me started on the Danny/Kris duet.

Allison is starting to emerge to me as the best technical singer in the competition, but I still think Danny’s unique voice and Adam’s trademark “spectacular-ness” is too much for Kris and Allison, especially Kris, to top. And yes, I did say Danny’s unique voice – Can you find me another person except the *yawn* Taylor Hicks/Michael McDonald who sounds like him?

Allison is amazing, especially for her age. She’s probably my favorite teenager to ever be on this show. She’s cool & I find her to be very real compared to some of the teenage contestants in the past.

And Adam is…my favorite person EVER on this show. Just love him so much. So versatile, so awesomely cool. Amazing mind-blowing voice & IT-Factor x a billion.

I agree- the duet rocked. That was freakin’ awesome. I agree with the other post that Adam meant it when he said little sister and would look out for her. You can tell he does. I think it was so awesome because Allison obviously feels comfortable with him and they both just played off each other. The hug at the end was priceless- you can tell they formed a bond. She was happy to be up on the stage with him, she knew they both killed and he was appreciative of her too. It was perfect- worth waiting for. I think this was the best idol week ever!
