  I’m most likely in the minority, but I find Gilles very one note. He’s a great dancer, but throw anything at him where he’s not sexy/steamy/fierce, it doesn’t quite work. I want to see something a bit lighter, something where he can smile and be joyous, not be all broody. The only thing remotely like that was the Jive (or was it the Lindy) last week. It just feels like he keeps putting on the same character. I want to see some range.

  Gilles is the one that deserves to win. He was robbed! GILLES FOR THE WIN! Ballerina I disagree with you. Gilles did a fantastic Quickstep and that is not considered a “sexy” dance.He portrayed nerdy Clark Kent very well. His Jive was excellent and he was grossly underscored on that as well. GO GILLES!

  I love watching him. It’s great when you can’t tell who’s the teacher and who’s the student. He has the moves….and the look….and the heat. My favorite since the start.

  i love how he looks at his wife at the end, as though acknowledging her as the lover through the dance. Gilles marini for the win!
