The kids, the whole “The sun shines out of your butt” thing. I actually thought it was a good performance (for her) and she didn’t need all the extra pimpage.

Her voice it’s what’s saving her honestly. She can’t pick a song to save her life, but she has true vocal talent. She gotta step it up, because soon there won’t be people who sound completely awful (megan joy)to keep her in this competition. Come on LIL!!! I want you to be good so bad. Pick a song that matches your ability to blow people away vocally. Do some cresendos and decresendos, throw yourself into the song! Put some emotion into it. Damn girl, let go and sing!

I really like her but I wish she would stop tackling these diva-type songs. Her voice is great but it doesn’t have the same multi-octave level as Celine or Mariah or even Whitney.

I like her but her vocals go back and forth between pretty good and “off”. I don’t find the sound appealing.

I think that Lil’s song choices had better improve quickly.

Kara made a dumb suggestion that Lil sing a Mariah song.

Practically NO 1 wants to hear a Mariah, or Whitney or Celine, etc., because up to this 8th season of AI, those divas songs have been ‘done to death’!

Try a Chaka Khan number like ‘Chanson Pappillon’ & re-arrange it ala Adam Lambert. He does a TERRIFIC job each week of tailoring songs to fit ADAM!

Btw Rickey, what’s up with “what’s up with the hair?”

FYI, that style is a very attractive look, mister, lol.

A nice voice. Not a great voice. It’s just the truth. No star quality. She’s not the next American Idol. I like her – but she’s not the next American Idol.

Paula was on the mark tonight, no AC Lil. Find an Urban or Urban AC station and liten to it for a day, see what’s up with today’s music.

It was sung well, a little thin in the verses and the ending was underwhelming, but the middle was great.

Thtas one of my all time favorite songs… Kelly sang the hell out of that, but this song in particular and Lil just dont go together… She run out of gas in the long note by the end and the high strong note was very week….

Anthony Fedorov did a much better version of this song than Kelly. Lil is a very distant third – that was not good at all.

While she did better than I expected, the reality here is that she does not have a good voice. I can’t figure out why she has got so far, other than she has an engaging personality and back-story.

Good voice, too bad many people today have the same kind of voice, even better. Her poor song choice is telling America what kind of artist she is, and it isn’t a good one. Sooner or later, her vocals aren’t going to save her.

Does anyone seem to notice that the songs are sucking the life out of her week after week, because that’s the vibe I’m getting.

I always liked Lil. She was in my Top 5. I ACTUALLY felt tonight was her worst vocal of the season. I felt she went SHARP and FLAT all over the place. Lil – (like Matt) – is just CLUELESS as to what artist they want to be. Megan (who better go home) at least knows her strength (yes… she actually does have 1).

After this performance I am officially off the Lil Rounds bandwagon. I hated everything about this performance, she COMPLETELY SOLD OUT. Worst of the night. Shame. The only thing I enjoyed was Lil’s daughter hugged Randy. Awwww…. Grade=C-

Amen, rayato! This is Lil’s worst performance of the season, and my personal worst of the night. The few seconds at the end of Megan’s performance, where I actually thought her vocal got nice and soft, were more fulfilling to me than the whole of this shrill, ego-driven stunt. Rayato is right, she’s out of tune for most of the song! Lil may make bad song choices, but I believe it’s her lack of vocal precision that’s killing her. A soft note in tune trumps a janky glory note any day of the week!

Not the worst performance of the night, but utterly deserving of the bottom 3. As bad as it was, my prediction is that she stays on the train at least one more week, possibly more if she can figure out how to pick a song.

It’s getting painful each week seeing the judges try to glean something positive each commentary. Last week, it was essentially “You sucked, so now we have to remind everybody to vote based on your initial auditions.” This week, it was exploiting her kids for the sympathy vote. Jeffrey Christ made the completely valid point — why didn’t they bring out Sarver’s or Alexis Grace’s kids when the judges were being “mean”?

I’m really frustrated with Fox and the judges. It’s not audition week anymore. Your frontrunner was bunk. She started high (probably due to ridiculously high expectations from the Idol machine) and plateaued (that’s a lot of vowels!). Stop trying to force her into the Top 3 just to prove that the judges’ predictions right. She’s not a bad singer, but she’s got no place past Top 6.

The judges are being so weird and stubborn about it… is there really anybody out there that doesn’t think that that little Ali Iraheta is undeniably the best female singer on the show? If anybody’s become a longshot for the crown, it’s Lil.

i like lil but she can do alot better. I like adam and danny.i used to like megan now i dont.My favs are for boys_Danny Gokey and Adam Lambert. for girls_Ali Iraheta and Lil rounds. there gonna be top 4. i wish scott or megan will go. scott becomes boring on the keyboard all the time. and megan lost her touch. she needs to sang amy winehouse or something.

Wow these people KILL me with thier comments when it SO obvious that they have NO experience or training in regards to singing. Idiots why do you think that she made it through hundreds of thousands of people. Not to mention that she almost a shoe in for Top 5; because the girl can sing. Simon and ALL the other judges have already admited that she’s one of the best singers in the competition!

When I saw Lil sing this I thought she was short on power, especially after the key transition.

I went back and watched this, David Archuleta doing it at age 12 followed by Kelly Clarkson doing it. And I think both top Lil’s rendition.
