well i didnt expect that (in a positive way)..

well at the start at least. but in the end i think he oversang it. so it’s just “meh” for me. too bad, thought sarver was onto something there.

I thought he did really well. His voice fits the song’s melody and slow vibe. As cheesy as it may sound, I love this song. One day, someone will dedicate it to me on the radio. Sigh…

That was very blah for me. I think he over-sang it and lost a lot of the melody by trying to stylize it towards the end.

The thing I like about his rendition is he didn’t go with the usual melody of the song. It’s like you recognize the melody and at the same time you don’t which made it a lot interesting to me more than being predictable. He seems like a nice guy so I’m rooting for him even though I know he wont win this. But I hope he’ll stay longer. Let’s get rid of the following who are just wasting spot in the top 13: Anoop, Jasmine, and Scott. I’ll give Jorge a second chance!

i thought his first song was terrible and i was shocked when he made top 13…and this was so-so…but for the first 20 seconds or so…i was like, okay, he *can* actually sing…but then he lost me again.

I downloaded the studio version and it is excellent. It is very easy listening and he actually has a great recording voice.
