I didn’t want to like this guy, but damnit, he’s so likeable and is very entertaining to watch. I’d actually love to see him in the top 12 b/c he would most definitely break the monotony that happens.
I can even overlook his very VERY nasal singing.
That “can you hold that” moment cracked me up.

he would be great for the show , norman = rattings and he can acctually sing just as good as any one on the show. a top 12 with out norman = something to help put you to sleep.

I didn’t get to vote last night cause I had to go to work after the show. I sure hope he makes it to the top 12. He so deserves it for that performance. I know he has better vocals than that, but I agree with laff, he needs to at least make it on tour. I would definately go see the show to see him. The contestants are definately lame this year compared to last year. I can’t stop watching this over and over, I laugh so hard that it makes me cry. LOVE IT!!!

Sadly, I don’t think he has a chance. Even if they bring him back in the wildcard round (which is remotely possible because they know people love him) they’ll never pass him to top 12. And even if they, by some miracle, DO put him through to top 12, will America keep him in for 2 more rounds for top 10 tour position? Not bloody likely!

I hope Broadway picks him up for a comic relief part in a musical because the man is funny and he can sing.

I was too starstruck by the performance last night, but in re-watching it again, I am convinced this is the smartest song to sing on American Idol, ever. It’s like a secret subliminal message that sneaks into our brain because we’re too busy watching his sparkly shirt to realize how hypnotized we are.

Nick/Norman was really thinking when he picked this song to sing. Brilliant.
