Listening to ALL the performances again, this guy was most definitely the BEST of the night .
Too bad he is being served up as cannon fodder – darn shame : ( because technicall he was just about flawless and I really ” felt” his performance.
I hate the three group system because this guy deserves to advance and does not have a chance to with the over-pimpage of Danny ( who was VERY GOOD but certainly not excellent) .
This guy is a better singer than Danny , Anoop but since he got 10 seconds if time and no sad back story , he will be thrown to the wolves.
Good luck , Ricky – you are EXTREMELY talented .

It is pretty sucky that this guy doesn’t have a chance. Neither do any of the other contestants who have to go up against the chosen ones.
I’m not going to dislike Danny or any of the others b/c they’re getting pimped.. not their faults, but every season it’s like this, and moreso with the later ones.
Just not fair. I’m sure if we went back to the way the voting was before, he’d have a better chance of getting through.
COuld you imagine if the voting was like this all the time? How many contestants that got through wouldn’t have?… IE, Elliott.

It’s easy to argue that this kid had the best chops on the night. That last note prior to “thank you” was a bit suspect, but on the whole very good.

I think we’ll be seeing him again on the WC round & if he delivers again at this level or better, he’ll have a good shot at the T12.

He’s good! Why do the producers do this to us? We should have seen more of this guy prior to tonight. Instead, they waste our time with people who suck and this talented guy barely has a shot in hell of pulling it out tonight.

Do they really think that Americans base everything on looks? We care about TALENT, people! That is what this show is *supposed* to be about for crying out loud.

I LOVED Ricky. Best vocals of the night, in my opinion. I gave all of my votes to him and I hope that by some miracle he inches through, but I doubt it’ll happen. So instead, I’m praying that Paula will pull him back for the Wild Card, since she seems to love him. He definitely deserves another chance.

Btw, I was surprised to hear that he’s from the Carolinas! On the Idol page, it shows him as being from Tennessee. Yay Carolinians!

I’ve decided not to watch these before thy are shown in here, but had to see how he does compared to Elliott. And wow, well sang, in own style and he was REALLY singing to somebody!! Well done!

Well,I’m glad to see that there a LOT of people posting on youtube videos that they are just as disapponted as I am that Ricky did not place in one of the three spots last night .
Come on, Michael seems like a very nice person, but his performance was weak , very weak . This guy sang circles around him , and Danny’s repeat of the song last night sound rough .

Well, if the AI people read blogs, watch youtube ,etc, maybe they will pay attention to a lot of the feedback and give Ricky a well-deserved wildcard slot .

I see that they were made to take down the website : rickybraddy.com . Maybe that is a good sign ???
