He has soul, and I really like his voice, but he seemed really out of breath and that was a little distracting.

He also reminded me of Elliott. And Chris Richardson. I liked him a lot, his style is nice.
Should be interesting to see what songs he chooses in the future.

Meh, he’s ok. Different… well.. different from alot of them, but same as Elliott etc etc heh.

And I know this is so wrong, but that photo you picked of him is AWFUL. He looks normal in the video, but in that photo, it’s like this face is too small for his head and it just looks weird!! rofl

You know, for sure he reminds me of Elliott Yamin and Chris Richardson (nice point ewgs!). And in fact, I give him the same critique that was given to Chris Richardson….”Slow it down…mellow out.” I think he’s got a cool voice though. He’s capable of all these riffs and stuff, but not really necessary everywhere. You can tell he’s a natural singer, which is great, but also inexperienced in a professional way. He’ll try and oversing too much. Hopefully not. I dig him. Interesting. Current-ish song choice. Good one!

Ooo, It’s gonna be a close one between this guy and Danny Gokey for most Elliottness.

Beautiful voice. Simon is 100% right – with a little confidence (and a bit of coaching to rein in the runs) he could be great.

He WAS consistently out of breath! Very distracting. What was up with that?

The fact that he reminded me of Chris Richardson, as well, was a definite negative.

We’ll see how it goes following Hollywood week.
