After thinking about it, he wasn’t all that bad. But honestly I think that he needs to his game up because there are some people that can easily out-sing him in the competition…

He was enjoyable, his voice was pretty strong, especially during the chorus. I am looking forward to what he brings to the table in Hollywood.

I could def see him making it very big in the country music scene. He has the right looks for it and def the right kind of vocals.

You know, it seems like Simon is the only person in this entire competition who has a bigger vision than just American Idol. He seriously serves up some EXCELLENT feedback, and the chicks on the panel (God love ‘em, and so do I…) are TOTALLY overreacting! Man, Simon is seriously, as Randy might say, “Holdin’ it down, dawg. Doin’ his thang. Yiieahh!”

The auditioner…I liked him. Interesting voice, excellent look. Diggin’ it, but would like to see more.

the problem with that statement is he already has made it sort of in the country music scene, i’m surprised they didn’t change his name up. his bio is still on cmt’s web site im surprised they didn’t have them take that down either.

it also states he was on that Nashville Star TV talent competition, the country music ver of idol. my question does he really need to be on idol?

Very surprised to see this guy try out for Idol. He was on the second season of Nashville Star and went by the name Brent Keith. He was obviously younger, with longer and blonder hair. Very cute at that time. He never got signed to a real record deal, so he’s been trying for several years to get one. I just don’t see him as the next idol.

I remember Brent Keith from Nashville Star. He also sings the theme song to the movie “Dale” the story of Dale Earnhart. Here’s his bio on the Nashville Star site (back when it was on USA):

I’ve also seen him on CMT and GAC within the last year, so I would never have dreamed that he would need American Idol.
